Can we get Braun up with a few guys on base, and Grilli on the mound...please?

There needs to be an upgrade in Bianchi's role. Just has to happen.

Can we at least hit a ball out of the infield in the ninth?

No one else thinks it was a really dumb idea to send an overworked k-rod out in a tie? I mean, was there really any reason to believe we had a strong chance to score a run with the lineup coming up in the ninth? Just not worth it for a pitcher with too many miles on him already. Not like we're desperate for a win.

K-Rod's magic seems to be wearing off... Just keep working him RRR, just keep working him...

He should not have been used in this non-save situation to begin with.

Is Herrera our new Yuni Betancourt? The guy is in his third season, and he has a career -0.1 WAR.

How is it every year we manage to find playing time for one scrub that shouldn't be on any Major League roster? He can't field. He can't hit. He has no power. What does he bring to the Brewers?

Of course, Peralta throws a gem, I start him, and get no decision.

Thanks, Brewer offense!

HA, HA Stache, I had both Wily and Liriano going for my teams. QSs yes. A W? Nope. Really needed Wily's W more than Liriano's though.

Hey, at least your starting pitchers had good games. I had Bumgarner and Teheran going against each other, figured I would get at least one good start. Nope.

He got lucky.

I had Teheran going, too. And just for good measure, I had Alex Wood in one of my pitcher slots, so I got a double whammy.

My starting rotation looks good:

Felix Hernandez

Shelby Miller

Wily Peralta

Julio Teheran

Yu Darvish

John Lackey

But thus far, they haven't been performing as well as I thought they would. At least, they're not getting a lot of wins. Poor offensive support.

Don't exactly know my full rotation off the top of my head, I think I'm pretty solid though overall.

Bumgarner

Teheran

Leake

Kluber

I think there's another one that I can't think of off the top of my head.

I disagree 100% with that last part, and really his workload lately hasn't been huge. He'd pitched most recently on the 7th, 10th, 11th, & 13th (4 of 7 days)

Herrera brings two things. He isn't hurt and he is willing to play the outfield (unlike some other middle infielders I know). We did send him to the minors and only brought him up because Gomez is injured. Herrera replaced what would have been Gindl's spot in the lineup, so I'm not that upset. I am upset that he hit first and was in CF while Logan was in the corner.

I thought it was strange that Krod came in the top of the 9th too last night.

I didn't. Our choices are K-Rod, Duke, Kintzler, Thornburg, Wooten, and Wang. We could not get into a save situation. We don't want to bring in K-Rod with runners on base. At home you should use your closer in the 9th. You use your closer and hopefully you score and never see their best reliever. The loss can be chalked up to K-Rod having his first bad day of the year and having your top three offensive weapons hurt.
