I haven't heard anything on a suspension, I'm assuming this has to due with his lower back tightness. If the Brewers think Gomez will be out multiple days, is it too late to drop the appeal and start a 3 game suspension tonight?

I've read from multiple places that Braun was scheduled to come out last night, he wasn't re-injured at all.

Hardricourt saying Gomez dropped his appeal so he can start serving suspension immediately. He was going to miss a couple games anyway with his back. Probably the right thing to do.

Just read this too. If he was going to miss multiple games.. perfect. I doubt his suspension would be removed completely so this is probably a good move. Hoping for no rain outs in Chicago.

For a season where lots of things seem to be going our way... getting Herrera back up after he went on a AAA hot streak combined with Rickie's recent resurgence is 'knock on wood' timing given Gomez/Ramirez going down. Yes I am knocking on wood. Stealing a division series when we are 'sick' would be really, really good. Go Crew.

Really, Herrara leading off? The worst hitter on our team, and he's atop the lineup.

Jeff Bianchi is in the lineup, so that isn't true.

You're right. I stand corrected.

They have 75 at bats between them this year, and not a single extra base hit. How is that possible?
