It's pretty intimidating to look at the Brews' stats that fairly dominate the division. The Pirates confuse me. They should have a better record.

 

Quite a break for the Cards that two key bats will be sidelined for this BIG series, at least for game #1. Also a break is that the Brews will miss getting at Kelly's AAA replacement, Tyler Lyons. But the Brews will also miss Waino.... Gallardo and Wacha are both aces, but Gallardo's been better. Advantage: toss up

 

Molina will sit out game #2... Lyne vs. Lohse: Kyle is the better pitcher, but the Cards have had his number and nobody knows which Lyne will show up so this game is impossible to call. Good luck to the bookies. Advantage: toss up

 

Game #3: Miller probably trumps Garza. Advantage: Cards (I couldn't call all three a toss up!) The only thing I'm sure of is that neither team will sweep this series.
