It's getting hard to defend Rickie. I feel like a guy trying to make excuses for my alcoholic brother after he exposed himself at Old Country Buffet. At a certain point you just have to give up.

That might be the end of the line for Rickie. He's providing nothing, Overbay is coming back tomorrow (not that he provides anything), Schafer is dealing with a hamstring issue which means they may need to keep Herrera up a little longer for outfield depth. It just seems like tomorrow may be the day they make the move on Rickie.

What's on your plate?

If you ever going to be correct I hope it's now.

I'm still a Rickie fan and actually think he could still outproduce Gennett, but it looks like he just doesn't want to be on this team anymore. Not that he's intentionally sabotaging, but it appears to be a difficult psychological/physical adjustment to be a backup for the first time in his professional career entire life as a baseball player.

Horrific defense is attributable to 6 of our 7 runs allowed today. It's been proof that bad defense doesn't always just show up in errors. Braun makes a terrible play and costs us a run, but it's a hit. ARam boots a ball that is inexplicably called a hit by a biased official scorer. And Gomez makes a huge mental error throwing to 3rd where there was no play which leads to giving up more runs.

Joe Block is hilarious. He literally called Braun's hit as "There's a swing and a line drive base hit to left....and it's going to get over the wall!" (very slight exclamation point)

Does he only have one eye or something? No depth perception whatsoever.

Joe Block is brutal. Puts me to sleep no matter how exciting the game actually is.
