Another leadoff baserunner wiped out with a ridiculous stolen base attempt. Gennett actually looked like he slowed down when he slid.

I think RRR has a card that dictates the classic situations. "leadoff runner gets on, pinch hitter, 5th inning or later: BUNT"

Why would you waste Schafer to bunt there, just leave Gallardo in to bunt. Idiot RRR

This. Absolutely zero reason to use a bench player, let alone your best one, if you're gonna try to lay down 3 bunt attempts. Complete waste.

I hate Roenicke. Just keeps flushing our outs down the toilet with bunts and running. Can't freaking stand it. I literally watch games constantly nervous at how our outs will be squandered willy nilly. ARGHHH. Hate hate hate.

And pretty much this too. The hit and run with your catcher trying to steal and a hitter with problems making contact. Fire him now. It's inexcusable and it keeps happening.

Smallball killed that inning. Ugh.

No the inability to lay down a successful bunt screwed that inning.

A manager with a regulation size brain would not have

1) Pulled a pitcher for a PH just to bunt

and

2) Had said pinch hitter bunt with 2 strikes.

Well Wooten isn't going to get in any more close game late anymore.

Well when you are worrying about a runner who isn't a threat to steal and leave a very hittable pitch down the middle of the plate that is probably a good decision. Not sure what Wooten was thinking there but he obviously wasn't using his brain he looked rattled and I am not really sure why he would be in that position.

Yep. Lucroy twice caught stealing in the last what? 3games? It's one thing if the catcher is poor at throwing out runners but Molina/Martin? Why are we running on these two? It's also another thing if it's Gomez or Segura getting thrown out because they are fast, by quite a bit over Lucroy/Gennett. I like small ball when its used wisely. But it's not being used wisely. Why run Gennett with Gomez at the plate and 1out? Just stupid.

Why run Lucroy with Davis at the plate? Who's been whiffing at pitches way out of the zone?

Just checking in. The MLB.tv feed of the game is completely unwatchable, so you guys are going to be my eyes and ears tonight.

Thanks, MLB. Nearly three weeks into the season, and I still can't watch the games I paid $130 for.
