I may be wrong (and those who followed him more may correct me) but hasn't davis typically gotten off to slow starts every year?

Not a huge fan of the bunt, however getting out to a lead on the Pirates has to be nice in the psychological warfare angle.

With the way Segura has been hitting there was like a 50/50 shot he grounded into a double play so Im fine with it, but I also don't mind it as much as some here

Good lord, I'm pretty sure most HS girls have a better arm than Scooter

Seriously? More Scooter hate, I just don't get it...

Yes it's hyperbole, but you saw the throw in question, right? It was awful, & unfortunately indicates pretty poor arm strength, by MLB standards.

But now a single!

Yup, but he has also unleashed a cannon at times as well. When this guy does something good, the haters never comment, only when he makes a questionable play.

I don't see what the issue is. At this time it is either Scooter or Weeks. Those are our options. Weeks is a train wreck both offensively and defensively. I'd rather sit back and see what Scooter has to offer for a lengthy period of time than watch Rickie flail away and look sad...

1) Yup, but he has also unleashed a cannon at times as well. 2) When this guy does something good, the haters never comment, only when he makes a questionable play.

1) When? Every time I've watched him play, his lack of arm strength has been pretty noticeable.

2) That's a pretty broadly-painted statement. I'm pretty sure I'd be categorized as a "hater" given my posts on Gennett in the past, & I have no agenda to only dump on him.

Is any one else concerned about segura? his approach looks awful

I wouldn't say "concerned," but yeah, both he and Davis have looked like they don't understand how to hit at the major league level this year.
