Bucks announce sale of team

I won't go to Bucks games, because it is downtown.

I'm surprised so many people have expressed this. As others have mentioned, the BC is pretty easy to get to. You literally get off the freeway at McKinley Ave, go east about the equivalent of 4 blocks, turn right and there it is. For the most part parking is fairly easy as there are multiple structures around. I actually think MP, even though you see it right there from the freeway, is just as complicated getting too. And forget about getting out of those lots after the game. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. There are cars everywhere and there are not nearly enough exits from the lot to main streets.

From my experience, getting out of a parking structure is a lot more hassle than getting out of a surface lot. Mainly because there is basically only one way out of a structure, whereas with the Miller Park lots there are multiple ways to get out. Maybe this is what you mean when you say there is "no rhyme or reason", but I'd rather be able to choose a less-crowded route out of Miller Park than be stuck in a single line of cars waiting to go through a single exit from a parking structure. Maybe things haven't been as bad near the BC in recent years since the Bucks' attendance has been so low. But for large events I avoid parking in a structure at almost all costs. I'd rather park on the street and walk half a mile or a mile (for what it's worth I usually do this for Brewer games too, but even when I do park in the lots I usually don't have major issues getting out).

Yeah, I have to disagree with the "games are hard to get to" opinions. My wife and I went to a Bucks game two and a half years ago...literally the first Bucks game I had been to in about twenty years. We live in Jefferson County, and it was really no problem at all parking and going into the game. Decent crowd that night too, so it's not like attendance was low and that made it easier.

during the week bucks games are pretty easy to go to. Parking is pretty easy to find on Michigan Avenue or the area by the freeway or the area north of the BC by the McKinley onramp. Weekends can be a different story. It really just depends on what else is going on downtown. The parking structure is a much larger hassle than it is worth. It can take a pretty long time to get out after largely attended bucks games and also depending on low you park, it is very difficult to back out of your spot unless someone lets you in.

I know its not exactly easy to get out of Miller Park after the game, but there really isn't many other options

The only reason I prefer Miller Park is because I am an out of towner and simply don't know the downtown that well and where the best places to park are. It is just so simple to get to Miller Park and park. The few times I go to the BC for concerts and whatnot it seems to take a long time to get out of there after due to traffic congestion.
