I don't believe Estrada will ever have a game where he's doesn't give up a run. That's what happens when you pitch down the middle.

Man, I was fooled. You were just messing with us the whole time. That was a good one.

Estrada can learn a lot from his fellow pitchers.... Ignore the pitching coach.

You should apply to be Brewers' pitching coach. You can bark at these guys to quit throwing the ball right down the middle. Stupid pitchers! Pitch to the corners! Every time!

There's more to it than that. The first thing i'd say is don't be like Estrada and throw a strike EVER when you have the batter 0-2 and 1-2. I'd go as far to say i will remove you from the game or switch catchers if you EVER do that.

they need to do a lot of thinking about this one. Coaches also.

These have been two pretty lifeless games so far. Hitters aren't making good contact at all; not even putting up a fight. Davis swung at a pitch that was about a foot high and a foot outside. Really? Khris you don't have to swing at everything

%$@$#!*!)%*$(!@!)( ADSFDFWEQEWDSSVSDARQEER~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6outs left 6 total hits in 16innings vs. The Scrub Starting Pitchers on StL. How many times are we going to be no-hit by Wacha/Wainwright this season, if we can't touch up these guys?

What if it's a called third strike right on the outside corner. You're going to pull your pitcher out of the game - and the catcher - for executing a perfect pitch?

Have you ever played competitively, or coached?

I see that Leake went deep for the Reds who are leading game 2 in the 7th. Curious: who do you guys root for between these teams? (if either)

Personally, I don't care about them. I just want the Cardinals to lose.

yfinn6,

It would only take me acting 1 time for it to sink in.

So I take it that's a no, to either of my questions. You'd lose your team in the first five games.

I edited my post.

It's nothing personal Dead Simmons... We have been owned for so long, the frustration of being beaten by your boys does weird things to us...

The Brewers coaches need to change the approach vs the Cards. That's all it is. They do the same damn thing very time they face them.

Come On Roenicke! Pull Gennett for Bianchi/Weeks to both Pinch hit? He sure loves to burn up his Middle INFs with no regard for later in the game nor who's deserves to be up at the plate.

Obviously there's a predetermined strategy by him, doesn't care what the score is or the outcome of the game. A,B,C. Done.

Now we just need Segura to get beaned...as I'm writing this Gomez is beaned...yep. You're so brilliant RRR.

The irritating thing is that we all knew that the Cards would counter Milwaukee's aggressive approach by throwing garbage. It's just common sense really--you don't throw strikes to the team that is just about last in MLB in walks.

This series didn't reveal anything new. We are behind the Cards and that hasn't changed.
