Cardinals TV broadcasters have concluded that Peralta was safe because Lucroy was blocking his path. :rolleyes

To be fair, Block said the same thing.

So classless, Lucroy. So classless.

Pretty sure you have to first be in the general vicinity of the catcher (when he doesn't have the ball) for the rule to apply. Not to mention that going out of your way to shoulder-check the catcher is an automatic out now. [sarcasm]Agreed that Lucroy is a classless thug though.[/sarcasm]

Good question though. Does that rule even apply when the catcher is standing up and/or in a pickle play like that?

Lucroy had the ball way ahead of time.

We may see NBA style flopping soon.

Really need to salvage tomorrow's game if we don't come back in this one. Getting swept out of our field by the Cardinals would really put a damper on that 9 game winning streak.

It's frustrating that year after year we just don't have an answer for this team.

I don't believe Estrada will ever have a game where he's doesn't give up a run. That's what happens when you pitch down the middle.

Dumb hitting, stupid pitching get to me and i take it very personally.

Did you see Estrada's twitter post before the game today?

"I have a guaranteed contract and have built up enough credibility in this rotation that I can afford to tank this one game...just to stick it to PrinceFielderx1 on brewerfan.net. I hate that guy and I hope he becomes homeless soon" #EatItPFx1 #pitchingDownTheMiddleOnly #twitterIsDumb

I'll be on him all year if he keeps this up.,

And he'll still have no idea who the hell you are. And he won't care who you are either.
