Brewers' first baseman Lyle Overbay faces another thrilling matchup with SP Aaron Harang. Thankfully it's 2004 and we have Prince Fielder mashing in the minors...

That Rickie Weeks kid is a rising star I tell ya.

Day baseball indeed!!!! Very excited for this game and hope we can get the bats going a bit here. I'd love a good final game and a series win.

I don't think I like this straight platoon at 1B. I could see it in the opener, but is it necessary with Harang on the mound??? Just Ron playing some games, trying to put guys in positions they can succeed....

Segura already getting a day off.... with a day off tomorrow. If he's not healthy he should've started the season on the DL.

I'm worried this is something that will linger for him. Hopefully not. But if he needs a couple of weeks to regain strength, they should just DL him for a bit. I'd rather him miss two weeks, and come back at 100%, than have him be 80-90% all year.

It's nice to see a Sunday lineup on a Wednesday.

Feels like we are happy to get one win, no need to go for 2...

not able to watch the game, but are there any shadow/sunlight issues going on right now? seems like neither team could hit their way out of a wet paper bag right now.

I'm sure the shadows are creeping, but I can't hear Rock to be sure.

I just remember those get away games with Sheets on the hill and an atrocious starting lineup winning tons of games, because the sun/shadows set up in a way that hitters couldn't pick up rotation and had no chance laying off Sheets' curveball. Every one of those games had the potential for a no-no or a 15+ K outing, it seemed.

looking at some of the images, that isn't the case today - it's as simple as nobody can hit right now.

I've always liked Garza as a pitcher, too bad we couldn't find a way to get him before a FA contract.
