Gee I hope we do not have a year of having to find different synonyms for losing multi games each day... today we were edged, topped, and downed. But we did accomplish a 'rally to edge' on the plus side. Actually, I wonder how many different variations there are to use instead of WON or LOST. Off the top of my head... outlasted, held on, snatched from the jaws of victory / defeat (a two way phrase), pummelled, blanked, no hit, one hit, two hit, three hit (they stop about there, don't they?), walked off, destroyed, embarrassed, humiliated, obliterated, catapulted, snuck, squeaked out, let get away, ran away, took away, ...

Brad's daily Minor League Camp Report includes a Damien Magnifico feature, and several observations, including on Taylor Jungmann and Nick Shaw.

More photos!

Honestly, between the features, notes, and photos (including even DSL prospects stateside for the first time), has anyone across MiLB done a better job for their organization's fandom?!

Kudos, Brad!

Can't believe none of the farmhands tweeted about this --

Via Rotoworld:

Felix Hernandez threw seven innings in a minor league game Thursday.

King Felix didn't feel like making the trip to Mesa, so he stayed on his turn and pitched against the Brewers' Class-A team. He's lined up to start Opening Day against the Angels on March 31.
