Man...how badly does he wish he signed that contract for 4/44 now? 3 times more than he'd made in his career prior to that.

 

Could be a great gamble on a incentive laden minor league deal. The Phillies are interested, so I doubt we'd sign him either, but I agree, he's worth taking a flier on.

Agree that incentive laden Spring Training invite would be a great move. He's not quite 2 years removed from Tommy John so a little more velocity could come back. (that's the rule of thumb right???)

 

Career relief numbers are very solid. I would give it serious consideration if his throwing session went well.
