I thought about asking if anybody wanted to have a skype call with me while at the meetings and just let me talk to whomever else showed up, but I thought it was likely impractical for somebody to do such a thing.

 

Some year, maybe I'll be up there for this.

It was great to be able to make it on a "game day decision." Really folks, more of you should come to these, great times and conversation!

 

Yeah, it was a good time, though this was one of the smaller groups we've had in recent years. Maybe next year we'll look at shaking things up a bit and see if we can do something different to encourage more people to come. I realize that with the Badgers playing, a lot of people probably had other plans last night.

 

We had some fun discussions about various topics last night, and it was cool for me to meet a couple long term members for the first time.

 

I like the new Friday's. It feels a little bit more upscale than before. I can see memorabilia throughout the stadium, so I don't think the removal of it from Friday's is a big deal.
