Listening on the radio. As someone who has been critical of Braun, I will say that he is answering all the questions the way I hoped he would. Talking a lot about regret...regretful that he ever held that press conference. I was glad to hear him say that.

That sounded like Mike Jacobs from TMJ4. He asked the dumbest question of the conference when he asked if Braun would renegotiate his contract.

It was interesting to learn that he had dinner with the Dino last night.

I was listening on Charlie Sykes show and I think he got one thing wrong. Sykes claims Braun said that his wedding is more stressful than the steroid issue but I think he's got the wrong take on this. The question asked about his relationship with his fiancee and friends over the steroid issue and that's when Ryan said the wedding was more stressful. Slightly different context there. Nobody would think a wedding is more stressful.

From the callers, it doesn't seem as if the press conference was "successful". Most are still wanted him traded, etc. Nothing he says will make a difference.

I'm still glad Ryan Braun is a Brewer and I'll be rooting for him.

Reporter: "So you are OK with moving to right field if it helps the team?"

Braun: "yeah, I'll play wherever they want, except 3rd base, that didn't go well...."

Braun didn't really say a whole lot other othan apologizing over and over again. If people didn't forgive him over his last apology this presser won't make any difference. If he is a 900+ OPS guy on the field again in 2014 the whole state (or atleast a majority) will forget or choose to ignore his past issues.

Most people are casual fans who aren't that knowledgeable about Baseball. He'll need 35+ HR's and 100+ RBI's.... if he has 28 HR's and a .289 BA but he walks a ton more and still has a .600 Slugging % to get him over a 1.000 OPS a lot of fans will say he sucks now or is overpaid or whatever... but yeah I get what you are saying. I'll be standing up and cheering for him on opening day.

Braun did some pretty bad things throughout the entire process. I get why some fans will not like him moving forward. I just don't get why people continue to dwell on this. Give the guy a chance to make amends moving forward. He can't satisfy all the things people want in one day, one month or one year. He plays hard, doesn't showboat, is a presence in the community and advocates against the usage of PEDs in the future and Braun can rehabilitate his image. To think he can answer questions in a press conference and become the Ryan Braun pre-2011 is absurd. Let's give him a chance and judge him 5 years from now.

I think that will or at least can happen long term. There is a long history in America of heroes being vilified and then celebrated a few years later in their "resurrection". That is one of the games the Major Media plays in this Country and a way they make money. Braun is still going through the vilification phase and that may continue for some time. I'm certain that his lawyers and agent understand this process of the media in manipulating public taste much better than I do and have explained it all thoroughly to him.

Eventually over the course of time (3-5 years from now) there will be heartfelt stories in Sports Illustrated and on ESPN about how much work Braun does for charity and looks out for younger teammates or whatever and then his resurrection will begin. It is part of the process many celebrities go through in America

Everything he's said indicates he wants to make amends and stay in Milwaukee. As long as he lives up to that promise (and doesn't get suspended again) I have no problem with him staying in Milwaukee and starting to wear my Braun shir-sey again some day.

I'm a Little League Baseball coach, and I have to admit that I don't wear my Braun jersey to practices like I did pre-suspension. Unfortunately it may be a long time before I can do that. I'll wear my #8 to games though!

Well there is an easy way to not get "vilified" by the media. How about just living an honest and fairly straight forward life? I have a hard time labeling people who get paid millions of dollars in the entertainment business (sports, movies, whatever?) and then get in trouble by breaking the law, lying, cheating, etc as victims of the media.

IMO Braun used these drugs to recover from an injury, not hit the ball better. The guy has all intentions to stay in Milwaukee long term, the one thing I would say is Braun has a long term deal with us and he has to produce like pre-PED or this contract will absolutely cripple the franchise.

I'm over the disgust, lets start playing again!!!!
