I'm fine with him out of the NL even though his last couple years weren't as impressive. The Braves are a team that's likely to be fighting for a wild card, and his loss weakens them. He's a good fit with the Yankees.

Braves have a Catcher Prospect named Christian Bethancourt who is just in range of being ranked a top 100 prospect. I don't know for sure the loss of McCann is going to be all that big. At least for the money they have freed up to use elsewhere
