Ehh, he was hurt and played through it before going on the DL. The main point of the article is right though, Braun would own the free agent market if he was on it this year, Biogenesis and all. Not Cano level ownage but he'd get $150 million at least over 6-8 years.

The Package the Mets would have to put together for Braun had better be the Upton Package put together by the Mariners last offseason. Otherwise, don't even bother making an offer.

That would have been: Taijaun Walker, Stephen Pryor, Charlie Furbush, and Nick Franklin.
