RIP Lou Reed

jjkoestler

Per Rolling Stone

Lou Reed, a massively influential songwriter and guitarist who helped shape nearly fifty years of rock music, died today. The cause of his death has not yet been released, but Reed underwent a liver transplant in May.

This is a sad day for all fans of music. RIP Mr. Reed. Hope your walk on the wild side continues wherever you are now.

I listened to The Velvet Underground & Nico and Live at Max's Kansas City so many times. I'll Be Your Mirror is a very beautiful song, which seems like an extremely inadequate way to describe it but I can't do no better.

71's not bad but I was hoping he would last a bit longer.
