The Dodgers have a lot coming off of the books - Lilly ($12M), Uribe ($8M), Capuano ($6M - $1M buyout), Ellis ($5.25M - $1M buyout), Hairston ($3.75M), Harang ($4.25M), plus others. If they move Beckett in the deal that's over $50M off the books; right now they only have $160M committed to 2014 ($145M if they move Beckett). They owe Kershaw a raise of about $8M (estimate $19M for 2014 salary, likely $27M in later years of the deal) and about $6M to Jansen, but they have room to work with. Plus their biggest holes are 3B and 2B.
