Burnie...are you kidding on the WHIP stuff? If not, FJM needs to return.
I can't make this stuff up. They were plenty loud, so I know I heard it right.

That is what they decided. I think one of them may have figured it out later (or was corrected by a seat neighbor).

"His whole life is a fantasy camp. People should plunk down $2000 to live like him for a week. Sleep, do nothing, fall ass-backwards into money, mooch food off your neighbors and have sex without dating... THAT'S a fantasy camp."

Bob Dylan may have marbles in his mouth, but he's not a novelty act. His material last night was fresh, unexpected, and interesting.

Robert

I read today that Dylan had been at the Barrymore in Madison rehearsing for the last 3 days before the Summerfest show.

I went to a Northwoods league game last night. $25 for all you can eat/drink. Not feeling the best today, but I made this franchise pay for this foolish promotion.

3 hotdogs

2 Cheeseburgers

2 bags of chips

1 bag of popcorn

7 beers

1 serving of cheese curds

1 giant cookie

1 piece of pizza

...and a diet pepsi.

Hold your applause.

If it were me I think I would have gone with 7 serving of cheese curds and ditched all the other food. Maybe a slice of pizza to fill the italian portion of my food pyramid.

Advantage: davego.

That wasn't a Loggers game by chance, was it?

Man, I thought I took advantage of that. I went last Thursday and had like 9 beers and 4 cheeseburgers, you put me to shame. I didn't even know they had cheese curds.

I'll admit I had to go off the board for the cheese curds and make an additional purchase. It was worth it.

I carried the big cookie in as sort of a prop to celebrate my victory.

Given the toxic nature of these curds -- I would say it would take 7 seasons to eat seven servings -- it's not that they aren't good, but they really absorb the oil.

Agreed, Dave really ran the gamut here... 9 beers and 4 cheeseburgers is a pretty standard cookout-lunch for BF readers. Dave touched all of the bases.

Good for you. That is awesome. I think the Brewers should get giant cookies to carry around the next time they get to the playoffs.

Ooooo, I don't know. A big cookie doesn't sound very classy.

That's for St. Louis to judge, not you.

Did something happen to Trevor Hoffman that I don't know about? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif Nice job, ESPN. lol

Well, Chris did pitch the 9th, so I guess he was that day's closer. But I get what you're saying; it does smack of the kind of fact checking you'd get from ESPN on a holiday, or from ESPN on any team not in their chosen few.

I watched this too. Federrer is a machine. I'm disappointed I couldn't find any all-you-can-eat establishments showing the match. That would be an awsome up-grade for Centre Court at Wimbleton to consider.

Man, I really feel terrible for Roddick, he played amazingly well but just came up short. For over 4 hours, Federrer couldn't even break Roddick's serve, that 2nd set tie break was a killer for Roddick.
