Anyone else rather disappointed with the show? It didn't suck, it wasn't bad even, but I was hoping for more nostalgia. I was flipping back and forth to the Brewer game so maybe I missed it but did Austin even make an appearance?

Yeah, could've been better, but I still enjoyed it. Austin couldn't come because he's filming Grown Ups 2 and couldn't get off from his filming schedule.

I thought it was a pretty good show.

The retrospectives weren't overly long. They made good use of the old guys.

Triple H/Stephanie and Brock/Heyman was good.

The Lita stuff was good. I wish Trish would have gotten a bigger pop. I think the crowd just isn't used to seeing her brunette.

I wish they would have used William Regal or Brother Love as the preacher instead of Slick.

The DX stuff was short enough for me.

I wish there was more Vince time.

I have no idea what they're doing with Jack Swagger. He's a former champion who now loses every week.

Would have liked to see Edge come out either with Christian or Lita.

My only real complaint is the Undertaker. I was never really that into the character, but he's now so finished. He's been great all these years, but is now about 70 lb. overweight and the new haircut is laughable. The slow, plodding pace is fine when you're evil personified, but evil isn't pudgy, and the Undertaker is fat.

Punk is riveting, whether as a heel or face, so I'm fine with the turn.

I can definitely see Punk using not being in the main event of any PPVs as the WWE Champion as one of his talking points next week to complete his turn.

I was expecting him to turn at MITB because of that since they had mentioned it on TV. They definitely telegraphed it, considering I don't even watch the show and figured it was coming. Nothing wrong with being predictable when it makes sense, though.

With all of the hype and speculation, I knew I was going to be letdown by the 1,000th episode of Raw. Hated the payoff to the wedding storyline. Why can't AJ be married to Daniel Bryan and the next GM of Raw too? There is speculation that the group of men in white outfits DB was talking to prior to the wedding were from a mental health facility, and his plan was to marry AJ and then have her committed.

Got a chuckle of Mae Young and her "son." Enjoyed the first 5 minutes or so of the DX Reunion. I was quite happy the New Age Outlaws and X-Pac were brought back. Loved the APA appearance and especially the clothesline from hell. You could tell Sid was itching to do more, but held himself back. Lita looked fantastic.

I disliked the HHH/Lesnar segment. I really don't like HHH or Stephanie at all. When Stephanie was going off on how Heyman failed in WCW, ECW, and WWE, I was hoping he would have fired back on how she and her daddy screwed up the potentially biggest money angle of all time. Sad we didn't get a Sable run-in too. I would have loved to see Brock destroy HHH.

I agree with all of this. The wedding payoff was crap. I think it was a foregone conclusion that it wasn't going to go through but the way it ended and to make AJ the GM was ridiculously stupid. The HHH/Heyman segment was fine until Heyman gave in and accepted the match. So what, Stephanie was making fun of his failures. That's all it took to get Paul mad?

The hand was probably the highlight of the night for me.

Paul Levesque is beating Lesnar with a Pedigree, 1-2-3. He doesn't do jobs, aside from for Taker. Remember the CM Punk angle that started this whole thread? He's the pony-tailed idiot that killed it. Bully babyfaces, he and Steph. Really makes a lot of sense. He's worse than Hogan, brother.

This is what I was hoping would happen, and was disappointed when it didn't. Would have been a great angle. Ultimately, I want Laurinaitis back as GM because I think he's a funny heel and good in that role.

I enjoyed him as the GM, i am going assume they got rid of him because he consistently stumbled on the mic and made mistakes, with the largest one being saying that the big show signed a contract on Saturday before the PPV and therefore would have been fired since he interfered in the laurinaitis - cena match.

I love the Punk heel turn, as he sucked as a face. But I wish they would have a major stunning heel turn. They all just seem so predictable these days. Or do something big, create some stables again or something. It just seems so dull and boring to me now.

I read a rumor, something about Kevin Nash hinting at a NWO reunion. Don't know if i'd like that, but I agree that they should create some kind of stable. I thought they were doing something interesting with A.W. but that doesn't seem to be working out right now. I would like to see Wade Barrett lead another stable that isn't full of reject rookies.

Austin 5:29

Life never slows down, so always make it exciting #moveit

Oh, well that makes sense. I don't really read the net much for WWE rumors...so Nash came back for just a couple of months at that was it? Seems odd. The WWE needs to do something though, as it's just stale and boring.

WWE does need a stable bad. Doesn't have to be nWo or anything something along the lines of Evolution or something. Do something with all the guys from ROH as a stable. I don't know. WWE has always been better when there were stables I always thought. Ministry, Corporation, Evolution, DX, Heenan Family, etc.

Kevin Nash always tries to interject himself into things. I highly doubt those guys are going to reunite. What would they do? Hobble around and talk? Hogan's been great in TNA lately, before he needed to have back surgery, but it's not like any of those guys can wrestle. Nash never could and he especially can't now. Hogan can't take bumps anymore at all. Hall is in and out of rehab. Look at how fat Sean Waltman was on Raw 1000. Hennig is dead. Savage is dead. Bagwell might as well be dead. Scott Norton is probably the best living nWo worker still going. So, I guess the nWo could be him and Vincent.

Basically, Kevin Nash likes to work the Twitter marks.

They wouldn't have to wrestle. They could lead a stable of new guys.
