I got the 3 disc Macho Man DVD as a birthday gift this week. Had kind of forgot how good a worker Randy Savage was and how great a heel he was. One of the very best at playing the heel you loved to hate, just played up to the crowd so well. Was also great at selling and making others look good. Ziggler reminds me a lot of him.

I'm probably in the minority, but I love the AJ storyline. Crazy = unpredictable, which is something that's been missing for awhile.

Other than the Punk/Bryan/AJ stuff last night's show was pretty bad. When they burn up time with Santino AND Hornswoggle AND a King v. Michael Cole match, AND a Heath Slater appearance, AND a Funkasaurus squash, that's a lot of filler.

Hard to see how they're going to go 3 hours with that stuff.

WWE is way too focused on the 1000th show. Last nights RAW was pretty bad. Looking forward to the 1000th, but looking forward to it being over. Hoping they have something good planned for going to 3 hours. Not extended promo time for Triple H and John Cena. I wanna see Antonio Cesaro, Damien Sandow, Tyson Kidd, and all the young up and comers wrestle every week.

I like the AJ angle, but the opening promo on RAW was the most painstakingly slow moving promo since Spring when the Undertaker paused after every third word.

Hornswaggle as the anonymous GM was awful and hokey. It'll be interesting to see how things play out when they go three hours. Maybe it will finally give them something better to do with guys like Swagger, McIntyre, Ziggler, etc. than bury them for the likes of Santino.

Hopefully Ziggler isn't the first MITB winner to lose. If they follow the Bryan script from last year fine, but they've gotta put the strap on him at some point. He's good.

very good pay-per-view so far. smackdown title match and mitb matches plus the punk-byran fights were very entertaining. looks like there is going to be no insight on where the AJ storyline is going until Summerslam i'd guess.

Well, yeah, they have to get Cena involved in it.

The Punk-Bryan match was a good match despite the anti-climatic ending. Overall, the PPV has exceeded my expectations of it so far.

With how the hook ended up breaking, it would've been funny if it broke when Jericho was hanging from it. Then he would've won inadvertently. Vince would've been flipping out, and they would've had to make something up on the fly. Would've been interesting. But anyways, this was a pretty good PPV except for the stupid throw-in matches. The Sheamus/ADR match was average, but good enough. The SD MITB was outstanding, the Raw one was good also, and the Punk/Bryan match was great as well. Those 3 matches made up for the rest of the show. Cena winning sucked, but it was expected. The only thing better would've been Jericho winning, because it would've been interesting. Show, Kane, or Miz winning would've done nothing. Cena didn't need to win the match to get a title shot, they could've just given it to him.

Besides the fill in matches, the PPV was very good. The only difference I would of changed was putting Punk vs. Bryan last and the WWE Tite MitB match where the Punk/Bryan match was. There was more build for Punk vs. Bryan then there was for the other matches. We all knew they would put on a good match and with AJ in there it added just a little something different. Looking forward to see what's gonna happen on RAW tonight. Start some build towards SummerSlam hopefully. Hearing Sheamus vs. ADR vs. Ziggler for the World Title at Mania. Don't know how I feel about that one.

pretty good raw i think. i wasn't expecting much after a pretty good ppv and next week being the 1000th RAW. I was a little disappointed about where the AJ-bryan-punk storyline is going, but i think there is going to be a turn next week. Cena's announcement was very predictable, there was no way he was going to take advantage of a beaten down punk. I am also wondering if Ziggler is going to cash in his MITB briefcase next week too, setting up Ziggler - Jericho for the belt at Summerslam.

I sure hope so. But Ziggler/Jericho will be great whether it is for the title or not. The 1000th Raw looks like it'll be awesome too. I still think they should've held back the Punk/Cena match until SummerSlam though.

I don't think the match is actually going to happen. It seems really stupid to have Cena hold the breifcase for only two weeks. Maybe Cena will get hit by a car or blown up in reference to some past RAW moment so the match won't happen.

Ziggler is turning into one of my favorites. Great persona, although I wish he would ditch Vicky. Plus, this guy really knows how to take a fall. Did anyone see him on Sunday, that spot with Tensei? He landed perfectly on that announcer chair.

I've been a huge fan of Ziggler for a while now. He's great on the mic, he's one of the most talented wrestlers in the business, and like Dnye said, he is one of the best at taking a fall and selling an opponent's move. I think he's at the point where he can be on his own, without Vicki G.

Ziggler is the best worker in the company at doing the WWE style. He's amazing and he's been the best for almost a year now, in my opinion.

The fact that they botched him so terribly is why I quit watching it aside from streaming the PPV's. He was nothing but a jobber for months on end, because nobody takes an opponent's finishing move better than he does. They did a great job of making me not care about the best guy they have.
