autographs, signings, and tips, part 2

drezdn

I'd lean toward using the Milwaukee address, but I'm sure that either the Maryvale Baseball Park or Miller Park address would work.

This format is what I've usually seen suggested:

Player's Name

c/o Milwaukee Brewers

Maryvale Baseball Park

3600 N. 51st Ave.

Phoenix, AZ, 85031

or

Player's Name

c/o Milwaukee Brewers

Miller Park

One Brewers Way

Milwaukee, WI 53214

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

The main reason I have lost hope is someone sent one out to Ryan a few weeks maybe before me and he got his back quite quick, where I am still in the waiting.

I believe turborickey sent out a Braun 8x10 a few weeks before you. Don't give up hope!

that is correct, great memory!

Yeah I also got that today, I'm thinking about. Hell $15 aint bad, maybe a little expensive for a guy like TGJ, but still not bad.

i would like to go to that, but we have the 20 pack ticket holder signing that day at noon, and i was going to go to the lot before and after that, so i might skip it..should be able to get him later, plus all i would get him on would be cards, and that would be way to much to pay for a card...

Is Tony Gwynn even going to be in Milwaukee on April 26th??? I also got that email but when I was reading the paper today they said that Tony would be in Nashville on his rehab assignment until next week....how's that going to work?

Anyone else go to Autograph Friday last week? It was really packed. I went and got Braun (barely). I was a bit disappointed though because he signed my 8 x 10 in a silver pen and the last 1/4 of his signature is a bit hard to read. The girl a few in front of me gave him the marker and he just kept using it. I didn't realize that was what he had until he was already signing. It still looks ok, just as visible as a blue would have been.

Can't complain too much as I was lucky to get it as I was about 85th in line and they had initially cut the line off 5 people in front of me. Other than Braun, the only other "big" name was Gagne, and even his line was long.

Stepping away from the Brewers for a moment, there is an autograph session next Monday, May 5, for the outgoing UW men's basketball seniors at the State Street University Book Store in Madison: Link

This event managed to draw at least two bf.netters last spring, and that was with just a few hours' notice.

Finally, we can all indulge our dreams of meeting Tanner Bronson, and a few bigger guys.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

gypcasino, who is that in your avatar, looks dangerously like one of the BAY CITY ROLLERS...lol

One of the stars of the documentary Heavy Metal Parking Lot. You need to see it. I'll even lend you the DVD if you want. It's classic.

I think I saw that once, or at least part of it, does it deal with the parking lot at a Judas Priest concert?

I'm heading down to Houston for the games this weekend and might try to get something signed. I figure my chances are better in Houston (decked out in Brewers gear) than in Milwaukee. I'm assuming any player, if they sign at all, will only sign one thing for me. What would everyone bring to get signed?

Keep in mind, I have to get this on a plane, back and forth, and carry it around the game and whatnot. I was thinking of just picking up a few balls and carrying them in.
