On Saturday May 30th Casey McGhee is suppose to be at the Sentry in Hales Corners. I'm not sure I want to travel that far for him. Is some willing to get me an autograph from him?

Jeff's is negotiating with Hoffman, so we'll see if it happens this summer. Weeks was suppose to be with Gallardo on Saturday, but obviously he won't be there.

Ken Sanders is throwing out the first pitch and signing autogrpahs for free at the June 7th Timber Rattlers game if anyone is interested.

Yovani drew a good crowd at Mayfair this morning. Not a real chatty guy, rarely looked up, but a nice SS sig.

Did Yovani look like a rock star while he was there. I was able to get him at a Sentry signing last year and as he walked up he looked like a rock star with all the bling on.

Yeah, he was about as quiet as one could be. That was the first signing I've been a part of from Jeff's, and man, the whole process went by really quickly. I completely forgot to take a picture of Yo signing the canvas I brought with!

He was just wearing jeans and a tshirt. He was only there an hour. His agent was a bit of a prick. Yo had a big patch of some kind on his left arm. Kind of odd.

Thought I'd just point out, the guy next to him was not his agent. His agent was too busy counting autograph's to be a prick.

The Block Parties are up now, and there is only one per day. Instead of somewhat organized chaos it will probably be a free for all. Twice as many people at one park.

Baseball Hall of Famer Phil Niekro will be at the game on Friday, June 12 courtesy of Miller High Life. Niekro, who won 318 games during a major league career that began with the Milwaukee Braves, will toss out a ceremonial first pitch knuckleball and sign autographs during the first three innings of the game. There will be no knuckleballs during the fireworks display after the game.

Baseball Hall of Famer Phil Niekro will be at the game on Friday, June 12 courtesy of Miller High Life. Niekro, who won 318 games during a major league career that began with the Milwaukee Braves, will toss out a ceremonial first pitch knuckleball and sign autographs during the first three innings of the game. There will be no knuckleballs during the fireworks display after the game.

If anyone is going to this and can get an extra autograph, I'd be interested. We could do a 50/50 perhaps with ROMLB, meaning I'd provide 2 baseballs and you would keep one and get one for me. Thanks for looking.

Block parties were one a date the first year and two a date last year, but you can't really tell what the single party will do to the chaos because they just weren't as well known the first season.

maybe after the crowds at Whitefish Bay last year the Brewers will figure out to run these things.

They should just sell tickets for the auto's like they did at the fanfest.

I'd probably be okay with that to a certain level. They couldn't charge for admission though, obviously.

I wouldn't mind a charge but they would still have to figure out a way to organize the people before the stages are set up.

What were the block parties like last year? I was at the one right near Miller Park in 2007 when Braun was there, and the line was long early, but it wasn't total chaos or anything. The tables were all set up early and they all had sheets of paper on them to say who was signing where. I just got there plenty early, got in the Braun line right away, and waited... Did they do things differently last year?

I heard the Sabathia one was crazy with people just running everywhere regardless of lines. I was at the Whitefish Bay one last year with Braun. When I got there around 7am there was one long line. At some point a Brewer employee showed up and walked everyone to the line they wanted to go to so no one lost their spot in line. Very organized, but I heard this was the exception not the rule with block parties
