What's bugging you? (2007)

I also reserve some scorn for people who clear their sidewalks up to the curb cut and then stop.

I see you've met my next-door-neighbor.

I finally just took my snowblower down there and cleared it myself, there's a very elderly couple who walk down our block every day, and they were trying to navigate through an absolute disaster.

I hate going to Wal-Mart and being bombarded by people outside the doors either selling crap or asking me to support such and such girl's softball team, or the best one, "Would you like to give money today to fight child abuse"? The way they ask, if you say "no", you're a jerk. I don't carry cash on me hardly ever.

It wouldn't be a big deal, but every time I go there, there's a squad stationed at each door, selling or asking for something.

I am on the opposite side of the sidewalk shoveling. I shovel mine but I hate the people who think it necessary to be out tramping down the snow or dragging their kid on a sled so they can pack down the snow on the sidewalk by 7 AM.

I feel like screaming, "It is Wisconsin. It snows here. Put you boots on and walk through it." It is less slippery than the thin layer of ice or slush that is left. Besides I live in a neighborhood of a sea of houses. Anyone out wallking around is doing just that, out walking around for no purpose. They aren't walking to work, or school, or the grocery store.

I envy my brother in Fitchburg, he has no sidewalks in his neighborhood.

The announcing on the Packers game today on CBS. EVERY play, he has to give the player's history. "And it's complete to Koren Robinson, the former 1st round pick by Seattle". "And it's caught by the former Dolphin", "the former #3 overall pick comes up to make the tackle".

I didn't notice that...and now I will. Yep, there it is..."Will Blackmon, a second year player out of BC."

fantasy football. that's what bugs me. I haven't added things up yet--it's early--but this is the third year in a row that I've been the #1 seed in a very competitive 14-team league and I am in jeopardy of losing my first round playoff game for the third year in a row. Why on earth do my players just disappear when we hit week 14?????

Worst-Christmas-song-ever!

I'm going to have to challenge that. "Rrrrockin' a-rround the Christmas Tree" makes me cringe - and I'm generally a fan of Christmas music. I think it's Brenda Lee's voice.

The Xmas music barrage began in Madison on November 16, which even for me was too early. The WOLX playlist appears to be mighty short and wafer thin as well.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Whatever, when I worked at Best Buy a few years ago, all they looped was the new Jessica Simpson Christmas CD.
Ouch. I think you win. There's always someone worse off than you though. Just think, there's probably someone out there who has to listen to "Hollaback Girl" all day...

And that person will probably never forget how to spell "bananas"

The Bourne Ultimatum DVD commercial:

"Here's your ultimatum: bring Bourne home"

That's not an ultimatum.

Brian, just because they don't tell you the consequences, doesn't mean that there are no consequences. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
