People that use the word "irregardless". IT'S NOT A WORD!

While I'm at it:

"noone" was the last name of the lead singer of Herman and the Hermits. "No one" should ever forget that.

It is "rIdiculous" to spell "rIdiculous" as "rEdiculous."

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

I bought my wife a Lexus for Christmas one year. She ripped it off the cardboard and let my son play with it.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Butchered versions of Trans Siberian on the radio really frosts my windows.

The little troll guy that advertises Oxyclean and other stuff. Can't hit mute fast enough.

I've got more, trust me, but I can't think of them right now.

The fact that it's 8:00 on Thursday and I DESERVE a new episode of The Office - it's one of the only things that gets me through the week. However, I don't get one because of a writer's stike. Instead, I get an old episode that I already have on DVD: only I get it with commercials. Awesome.

Well, I guess there's the biggest Packer game of the year thus far, so that'll be enough to distract me. Wait, I can't watch the game because I don't get NFL Network here. Forget it, I'm gonna read a book. Nobody is going to prevent me from reading chapter 9 of Skinner's Verbal Behavior.

I was on hold for 12 minutes yesterday calling Directv, and instead of hearing messages like "your expected wait time is __ minutes" or "your call is important to us, blah, blah", I had to listen to an endless stream of commercials talking about programming offers. So, in addition to being poorly staffed in their call center, they further punish their callers with sales pitch after sales pitch.

Weak.

  • Cell phone users who sit in their cars in my driveway, talk on the phone, and make me sit and wonder when they might be coming to the door.
  • Cell phone users who sit in their cars in my driveway and continue to talk on the phone after I "greet" them at the car window.
  • Cell phone users who ring my doorbell, then continue to talk on the phone as they come into the house.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I was leaving for an appointment about 45 minutes ago and found a car stuck at the bottom of my driveway...and the driver left.

Now I'm getting an answering machine while calling to decide whether to reschedule or be late.

what really bugs me a lot here in north carolina is that at a stoplight, everyone stops short a good 10 feet from the car in front and won't move up to the bumper. like today i missed a long light because i couldn't get into the left turn lane only because people wouldn't move ahead. it hugely bugs me.

I do not miss North Carolina driving one bit.

What is bugging me right now is the shirt my brother wants for Christmas is $10. The shipping is $7.

My roommates.

I just spent an hour getting grilled by them for dating my girlfriend. They have the nerve to judge me and believe that they know my thought process and know what's best for me and what I can an can't handle. Good lord, I don't know for the life of me what their problem is. Neither have room to speak and tell me what I should or shouldn't do. I'm just kinda pissed and waiting for a one-month break from them.

People who just don't bother to clear their walks of snow. I don't want to pick on elderly homeowners, but there are sidewalks in our neighborhood which are chronically ignored, and I know some of them are occupied by people in condition to do it.

I'm 41, neither big nor particularly strong, and I spent a lot of my day off today moving snow and chopping ice. If I can do it, most able bodied adults can do it.

I also reserve some scorn for people who clear their sidewalks up to the curb cut and then stop. You live on a corner lot, the curb cuts are your job too. Yes, it sucks - I can attest to that since we have lived on a corner lot since 1993 - but we've made sure to keep ours clear. Making pedestrians climb over boulders at the end of your sidewalk is unkind, and frequently unsafe.

I had to type this today, before my ice chopping muscles seize up and prevent me from typing at all.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
