What's bugging you? (2007)

splitterpfj

Robin Ventura turns 40 on Saturday. That's his business, but it means I have to do it too. 40? Gosh, I was just 25, like, 15 years ago.

You kids, with your fancy stats and graphs, back in my day we respected batting average and runs batted in....(pulls pants higher), you better keep that ball outta my yard, or the next time...it's mine! (notices thermostat reads 78, turns up heat)

Speaking of cell phones, you know the call is kind of unnecessary when you're walking through K Mart and you overhear, "How old is he now?"

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

It's bugging me that I'm still up.

The dog had the runs all day yesterday. Today, he's better, but it doesn't negate the need to take him outside. The problem is that he has a pretty good barometer in him and he thinks it's going to storm. He refuses to go out. So I really should keep trying to encourage him so I don't have to worry about possibly having a mess in the morning.

Yawn.

It must depend on the Subway.

It always depends on the Subway. I am a frequent visitor and each of the four restaurants in my "rotation" do things differently than the others.

There are two that just heap on the veggies, but only if the right people are working. I was astounded by the foot-long sub one guy made for me recently--I always get jalapenos, and this guy gave me two fists full. When I got home, I opened the sub and counted 43 jalapeno slices. Yes, 43.

Anyway, this pinched nerve in my neck is bugging me. Otherwise, I'd be sleeping and not posting at 6 AM.

I tell ya Casey, I love jalapenos. Still, watching this kid throw two fists full on there, I must've been looking at him with bug eyes. I hate to say it, but that was even too many for me.

Hardware Stores. Not the stores or staff, but the inconsiderate people that return bolts, nuts, screws into the wrong sized bins. So you get 20 of each item, go home and realize that some jerk put 3 other sized items into the bin and now you have to go back and your project is unfinished.

Old people with sports cars. They aren't meant to drive 15 under the speed limit with your right blinker on, just give it to your grandson and buy a boat. That way i at least know that you are going to drive slow.

And lastly, help requests at work that make no sense.

I believe the Subways in north central WI have had spinach back for several months.

I've had good luck telling Subway employees exactly how much of a particular veggie I want. bb, maybe they'll give you jalapeños on the side.

I think you work with the original WOAH SOLVDD poster. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I always look for spinach at Subways. Fresh spinach on a sub is great. I've been bugged in the past, though, by Subways whose staff tell me that spinach is an extra-cost vegetable, when there's a section of the wall menu that lists extra-cost veggies and spinach does not appear on it.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I like them on the sandwich, it was just a bit much that day.

It'd be your job to put them on the sandwich. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Kind of like ordering salad dressing on the side in a restaurant.

If I wanted to put the veggies on the sandwich, I'd get a job there.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

What's bugging me is having to wait for Part 2 of season six of the Sopranos on DVD. With so much time before it comes out, I just know I will cave and look up what happened, and I will be inevitably disappointed when I actually do watch.

Does anyone know when the DVD comes out?
