2010 is approaching quickly and I haven't decided whether to call it "twenty-ten" or "two-thousand-ten." Both sound clunky.

ESPN's hatchet job on Mike Leach. I've never been a big fan of the guy, but holy cow comparing their reporting of the story to those from other sources it's shocking how one sided their reporting is.

Well, the alleged victim is the son of one of their correspondents.

Its one thing if they want to have Craig James offer his opinion on PTI or something, but it extended to their "news" reporting shows too. ESPN's coverage mostly went like this:

 

Sportscenter guy: We are now joined by the father of Adam James and ESPN analyst Craig James. Craig, is Mike Leach evil or what?

Craig James: Why yes SG, he is evil.

SG: Approximately where in the axis of evil would you say he is?

CJ: I would consider Mike Leach to be somewhere between Hitler and Satan on the axis of evil scale.

SG: Thank you Craig.

 

I don't even understand why James is considered to be a "victim". The guy hung around in a shed for awhile. What's the worst that could happen in that situation, getting bored? Leach probably told him to go clean it or something. Big deal.

 

I forgot to add what I have already done. I dusted each of the detectors as well as resetting the breakers. No luck with either solution.
