The following should be in blue.

Congratulations to the BADgers, who will play Castle Rock Community College - SE campus in the Little Debbie's Nut Bar Bowl on Dec. 28 in Minot, ND.

So far the line is Fighting Sparrows by 4.5.

little first grade students who think the sign outside our building says, "Welcome to Cerbat Elementary DoWhatchaWant School!"

Oh, and their parents who let said student do this at home, too. And then they tell us, "You just don't know how to handle him/her." When you ask them to teach you what we should do since we "don't know how to handle him/her," they then respond with ludacracy like, "Heck if I know," or just change the subject.

Two things are bugging me this afternoon:

1. Hard drives that begin to fail nine days after installation. Until the replacement comes I'm either working with a high pitched hum or I don't have computer access at all. Lenovo FTL.

2. All the patrons who keep coming into the library today. Go home already! Beat the traffic!

When my wife turned in our cable modem last month because we bought our own, not wanting to pay the lease charge anymore. Then of course it's still listed on our bill. Then I try calling the Charter and get stuck in phone menu hell. No, I really don't want my account balance, just tell me how to get the charge removed. Of course I can't get connected to an actual person.

Last Friday I was driving out to the cities to hook up with my college buddies for the weekend, it's a semi annual event. I'm driving down highway 29 and the vehicle behind me is acting some what curiously. It was on my bumper and sort of weaving to the right and left sides of the lane constantly. I purposely drive and at an odd speed so I'm never exactly keeping pace with the rest of traffic, and this trip I was driving 69 because the cops were out in full force, I went through at least 15 different speed traps in the 200+ miles. After about 15 minutes I got annoyed and forced the issue, I slowed down to 60 (in a 65) just to see what would happen as I needed to pull off for gas in a mile anyway.

I was pretty happy when the vehicle pulled out to pass me finally and while usually I don't look at who's passing me, this time I did. I noticed it was a mini van, and I noticed the dome light was on (something I couldn't tell when the van was behind me), and then I noticed the driver was actually reading a book! He had the book open and over the steering wheel and was trying to read a book while he drove. I thought he was maybe reading an atlas or something, until he flipped the page and I got a good look... it was the only time I ever felt like reporting a fellow motorist. What a clown.

Rant 1.. I drove to the corner store for something and passed about half a dozen houses with Christmas lights. I'm all for putting up lights while its still warm out, but you don't need to actually turn them on. I'm going to a Thanksgiving dinner at my friends house on Fri and they've already put up Christmas decorations. I'll have to pass the stuffing and gravy around the garland and stockings. Oye

Rant 2.. I'm all for time wasters, even on Facebook, but its getting annoying when 3/4 of all my news feed is who fertilized whose farm and who needs what items to complete their collection. I'm hesitant to block the app because when I am being lazy I'll help fertilize and give items but not to the extent that some hardcore FB'ers seem to do.

Crew07, I probably would have called 911 and remoted them as driving impaired, but that's just me.

I cannot stand tailgaters. If I can't see their headlamps, they're too close. Just last week, I was fortunate enough to finally buy a new car (actually it was used, but only had 6000 miles on it). The very next day I was driving up to Oconomowoc, and inevitably getting tailgated very closely on Hwy 26 by a female driver who appeared to be about college age. I kept noticing she kept glancing down every few seconds. I assume she was texting on her phone. Eventually I was able to turn off and let her pass. I wasn't going to let her bang up my new car.

Adam Morrison

I'm a big Gonzaga fan. While watching the Maui Tournament this past week they kept discussing the Gonzaga/Michigan State triple overtime game from 2005. (Possibly, the greatest November NCAA game ever) Adam Morrison was amazing in that game.

When he showed up in Spokane as a clean cut freshman he was an instant success story. Now, I am embarrassed by what he has become. He could never play defense - but he should have at least been an average NBA starter. Look at a picture of him today - there is no way he didn't flush his career down the toilet with drugs.

Montreal beat Saskatchewan 28-27 last night in the Grey Cup. The Alouettes kicked the game winning FG from 33 yards out with no time left. Monteal had missed a 43-yd kick on the previous play, but Saskatchewan had to many men on the field, so Montreal got the second chance and won the game...I pull for the Roughriders, so I'm not amused.

There are bad days at work, and then there are bad days at work. Today a visitor to my workplace committed suicide in our building. The person who died had long-term and significant mental health issues, and while I feel bad for him (and hope he's finally at peace), I honestly feel worse for the colleagues who saw and heard the incident. I'd have been among them had I left for lunch even a minute later.

Sorry. Feel free to carry on with more mundane things that are bugging you. Actually, I'd like to have something more mundane to think about.

I get upset when I have an awful basketball practice before a game. Then my team has the audacity to talk back to me when I get upset with them. Finally I was supposed to have a roommate move in today and of course he backs out.

Wow, that's a tough one, Hawing. . .

Hopefully you won't have any more incidents of this magnitude.

Here's one that doesn't involve death:

My downstairs neighbor, a college age goof who always diverts his eyes when our paths cross, , ,he's the worst guitar player in the history of guitar playing, and he's also averse to using headphones, and to following our apartment's 10:00 p.m. quiet hours rule. He often has friends over, and when he's not butchering some song, he and his chums are out on the balcony playing some sort of card game that invariably results in one of them making some loud guffaw. I'm often the grouchy old neighbor who calls the security guards to report a noise violation, now mostly just to mess with him. . .

Anyway, I think he picked up an electronic drum, or some video game with drumming, as he started this drumming exercise last night around 10:30, and the sound was still going on when my alarm went off at 6:15.

That bugs me, and if it goes on tonight, will merit another phone call.

Though hopefully not his death.

My daughter's boyfriend was good friends with one of the guys who died in that car accident in Oak Creek. I feel so bad for that family because they had to stand and watch from about block away as their child burned to death in the accident. I can't imagine the life long devastation they'll suffer from not only their child dying young, but having the nightmare of seeing his truck explode into flames and burn to death. How do they ever get over something like that?

Can you have this guy caned?

Ha!

Occasionally there are stories in the local news of people whose criminal sentence includes some strokes of the cane. . but I don't think being an inconsiderate goof is enough to merit the rattan.

I don't know if I can do much other than call security. And he does generally shut it down after they visit him.

We'll be gone in a couple weeks to come back for Christmas, and then back for good by next summer, so I don't have too long to endure. Just keep Security on speed dial, and I hope my other neighbors are as grouchy and diligent as me.

And with hawing's story, and now danzig's, I'm reminded about how small my complaint really is.

I'm bugged this game wasn't on American television. I'm bugged I would have had to pay $10 to watch it on the internet.

I have Yuku Supporter, and I haven't logged out to take a look, but we apparently have full-fledged infomercials playing in our profiles.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.
