What's bugging you? (2009)

splitterpfj
I kinda hate how the Brewerfan forums turn into a hornet's nest in periods when the team has been down the last few years.

In some ways, I almost wish the Brewers were bad again. It was more fun to be overly excited and optimistic about Jim Rushford and Pete Zoccolilo than to curse the names of Mike Burns and Claudio Vargas.

I was browsing Wisconsin engineering jobs on careerbuilder.com. Of the 50 pages, approximately 30 were of the exact same "global engineering and marketing" post. Word for word, over and over again. Like it's not hard enough finding jobs, but now I can't even easily browse what few jobs make it onto careerbuilder cause someone is abusing their posting ability? Only thing that made me feel better was to report the posts, maybe careerbuilder will step up their game.
I do the same thing too. Its *fill in the blank* annoying to see those as well as work-from-home-and-make-millions posts over and over because they file them under EVERY section. I, too, get a little satisfaction in reporting the posts but its rather depressing to see that 3/4 of all new posts are spam posts . Its surprisingly difficult to find an engineering job in Wisconsin.

MLB.com has a headline right now that says "Posada flirting with history; Yankees in control". So I look into the story a bit and it says that Posada homered in the 4th inning, and he is a triple shy of hitting for the cycle.

Really? All he needs is a triple?

Jorge Posada has 9 career triples in 1557 games. He's not going to hit a triple today. And so, he's NOT flirting with history--at least any more than to say I'm flirting with Stacy Keibler given the remote chance she happens to be trolling on Brewerfan.net and happens to like the angry scowl of Judge Landis.

By the way, Stacy, in case you have indeed stumbled onto this post, you've got a great smile.

Thank you very much.

As a follow up, Posada grounded out 1-3 in his final at bat. And since Stacy Keibler hasn't responded, I'm guessing I struck out. Swinging.

Not sure if Mrs. H5 is celebrating or not. . .

Finding out the one health insurance that would take me, won't cover my pre-existing condition. Why you ask? I haven't had my pre-existing condition (Type 1 Diabetes) long enough. Apparently If I've had the pre-existing condition over a year, they would cover me. I was just diagnosed with it 6 months ago and my current health insurance dropped me because of that...in the words of Bumble Bee Man "Ay yi! No me gusta!"

Wow Stalton...what a crappy insurance plan. "Oh, we'll cover you, but as soon as you get some sort of disease/health issue that will require us to pay some money so you can get the proper treatment, we are going to drop you." I don't think I've ever heard of that before.

I'm bugged by people that have no texting protocol...send a message...wait for a response...don't send 7 messages on 7 different topics.

I suppose I should clarify it a little, I wasn't dropped per say, I was just inelligible for applying for another term.

"So could you apply again in six months? (Not saying that's really an acceptable answer)"

The ironic part is, I'm an insurance company's best case scenario. I'm fine with quarterly visits to the endo and oral meds. That's it. Since I'm an otherwise healthy 24 year old, I don't have any complications or other needs, but insurance companies see that dreaded D word and think that they have to shell out tons of $$ and get the rejected stamp ready

I find this infinitely funny and maddeningly annoying all at once. I'm posting this from elsewhere, because I'd rather avoid the topic where it is originally taking place. It is a conversation about an "idiot" coworker:

Sorry, but I have to agree with Jeremy. Its particuarly annoying when the idiot is ur "superior", and younger than you. I've had the pleasure of issuing training sheets (like a write-up 4 errors) to my bosses, and pointing out policy and proper procedure- and they are n charge of me! Ha.I've often wanted to shout, "who did u screw 2 get this job... And what's his/her phone number".. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif this 2 will pass, Jeremy.

I've got silver fillings in my teeth from when I was a teenager that are still going strong.

I've got a "new" composite filling on one of my front teeth that was put in 2 years ago and it's crumbling as I speak. Gonna have to call the dentist on Monday. This blows.

The last filling I got, a couple of years ago, took all of about 10 minutes to put in. I wonder how long it will last.

What's bugging me, though, is this cold that's taking a long time to subside. The last few nights have been exceptional "sleeping weather", yet I spend hours coughing and not sleeping.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I just realized that Braden Looper is scheduled to pitch on Wednesday--and of course I am going to the game. If my calculations are correct, that will be my 8th Brewers game of the season and the 5th one started by Looper.

Me and my buddies will be there Wednesday for an annual outing. I think Looper has pitched every game I've attended this year. He's the 2009 version of Moose Haas for me.
