You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

It bothers me that they can't make normal pants that convert in to shorts. Why do they all have to be made out of some sort of nylon/parachute type of material and have all this elastic around the waist with some sort of mesh lining inside?

I'm just looking for tan Dockers that covert into shorts. How hard is that?

"He could throw that speedball by you, make you look like a fool boy"

Speedball? Who says speedball? Are you making a drug reference Bruce?

Maybe it's from a different era, or I'm missing something, but I've never heard anybody say speedball when referring to pitching except for in Bruce Springsteen's "Glory Days." It always just seems a little odd when I hear it.

Our neighbors. We call them vampires b/c they stay up till 2AM - 5AM every night and don't get up till noon. Meanwhile, we have day jobs and nighttime commitments and would love to sleep during this time. They have a 3-year lease. Guess who's moving again in 3 months?

With the U.S. population chock full of aging boomers, presumably a bunch of them need bifocals to be able to see clearly.

So why do so many eyeglass frames have lenses that are too short to accommodate bifocals?

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

The jeans are made with a bit extra room in that area, hence the name.

My garage door broke this morning. Luckily, my truck was all the way out of the garage when it happened.
We had the opposite on Monday...well, opposite in that our cars were both still in the garage. Wife woke me up at 6:30 AM to tell me the garage door wasn't working. Turned out one of the spring coils over the door was busted. One service call and about $200 later, it was fixed.

Got done with work early today, so I ended up watching an episode of "Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader" where the contestant was a 7th grade History teacher. The final question was, "Who was the President of the U.S. when the 50th state was admitted to the Union?" A difficult question for sure, but one should be able to give it an educated guess. I knew the last states were admitted in the 50's, so I guessed Eisenhower. The contestant begins to think aloud, "Well, it would have to be in the late 1800's...". I let out an audible gasp. But she continued, "So I'm going to guess... John Adams." I couldn't believe my ears. She couldn't narrow her guess down the right century, than picked an answer from the opposite end of that spectrum. John Adams, the SECOND President of the United States of America was your guess? You are a 7th grade History teacher! I don't mean this to offend the many wonderful teachers here at brewerfan in any way, it was just unbelievable to watch.
