What's bugging you? (2012)

Golden Corral woman taking her friends to a pricey seafood restaurant, and instead, they jump and roll out of the moving car.
I did that once. Very lucky not to get hurt.

The ultimate cesspool of snotty hands and the unwashed masses. Eating out of that thing is like drinking the bathwater of strangers.
Depends how hot it actually is.

I believe I posted this earlier, but a typical serving spoon in a buffet restaurant has more bacteria than a typical toilet seat.
I imagine the type of bacteria is more important than sheer numbers.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Call me a Negative Ned, but April Fools Day jokes are really getting lame and are irritating to me. The older and crankier that I get, the further away that I can see them coming from.

BTW: That Golden Corral chocolate thing looks nasty, every time that I see the ad on TV I am grossed out.

Overnight I dreamed that we were headed to our first game of the season. I was pretty happy, until I woke up and realized it's still five days out. I don't need to be April-fooled by my subconscious.

People who, while singing the National Anthem, mess with the way it is supposed to be done.

Just watched Jose Feliciano butcher the National Anthem for the opening of the new Miami Marlins Stadium...

I am a traditionalist when it comes to certain things, and the National Anthem is one of those things.

I agree, Turbo.

It is a song with a cadence and a rhythm. It is designed to build, and build, and build until the top gets blown off at the end.

If you're going to mess with it, you've gotta do better than Marvin. You can't. So don't try.

It's based on an old drinking song. It is not a funeral march. It should be up tempo without warbles. I get sad every time I see a member of Street Life at Miller Park.

Opening day with no Brewer game, that is REALLY bugging me!

(Even though there have technically already been 2 other opening days/nights this season, which also bugs me, when did we stop having one official opening day anyway?)

Applying for jobs and not knowing if I am actually qualified enough to have a chance at getting the job bugs me.

Gmail just force me into their awful new interface.

It uses icons instead of words, functions disappear unless Gmail thinks I'm actually going to use them, I have to hover over my labels to see the full list, and the colors are so washed out that it's hard to tell what's what.

I have to wonder how this mess would work on a touch screen.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I can't even figure out how to message people anymore with facebook's new timey thing, or respond to them. and it appears a few videos I made have disappeared. when getting off facebook has been the cool thing to do lately, it makes no sense to offer people all the more reason to get off.

I'm also getting really tired of seeing people at a party or social outing have their face in their phones the whole time. I know it's been said on here before, but it's worth complaining about twice.

It is truly an addiction for some... Actually a LOT , not just some.

I find cell phone use in general to be one big annoyance!

If you need to feed your addiction, fine, but when you put my life, as well as my families life in danger by talking on the phone or texting while driving, then it is a problem for everyone. STAY OFF YOUR FREAKING PHONES WHILE DRIVING!

Ah, I've been defining my own cool by not being on facebook. Does this mean I have to create an account now to stay ahead of the curve?

I have 6 different USB connectors for my tablet, phone, mp3 player, video camera, and digital camera.

Are you freaking kidding me? Oh, also, each one of them has its own unique way to be charged. Most of which don't involve the USB cable.

During his first at-bat of Friday's game, Ryan Braun fouled a ball which caromed off the loge press box wall and clipped me above my left elbow before landing in the lap of a Red Sox fan across the aisle. I'm hoping for at least a bruise for my trouble, but so far nothing.

Edit: And the son of Red Sox Guy was hoisting a Yankees scarf later in the game. What is wrong with that family?

Thursday, my wife was forced to work 12 hours, from 7 am to 7 pm. Then she was forced to go in at 3am Friday morning and work until 3 in the afternoon. Yes, that's work 12, off for 8, work 12 more... in a highly dangerous job, with NO overtime pay.

She had (and has) NO recourse. Do it or get fired, after 14 years of exemplary service. This bugs me greatly.

I'd be curious what the state's labor department regulations are on this. Would be worth looking into.

Invader, all of that has been looked into. When I said there is NO recourse, I was being perfectly literal. There is NO recourse.

I was slightly mistaken about one thing though. She doesn't have 14 years in; she has just under 17 years in.
