I'm so pissed off at George Lucas for the new Indy movie, it's rediculous.

i haven't seen the new movie yet, but Lucas and Spielberg have pretty much turned heel for me. they've fallen in love with themselves and what they can do and it seems to be entirely about the money now, not so much making movies for art's sake--not to mention they're the epitome of this trend of rehashing old stuff and not having original ideas.

especially Lucas, when he did Star Wars, sure it had great effects, but it was still about the storyline. i think their mistake now is they think we love Star Wars mostly for the effects and overall look of the movie, and so they duplicate that in the present. What they don't realize is that Star Wars and the like are lasting movies because behind it all, it's a great plot.

Your spelling is ridiculous. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Sorry, pet peeve, and I think this may be the only thread where I can get away with this.

My haircut sucks.

I need a haircut. I don't know where I would rather be... in bad haircut land or need a haircut land. Probably bad haircut land, because at least you tried.

Another Pet Peeve...

When windows programs don't include an uninstall option in their start menu folder. Then I have to go into the control panel and click a handful more times.

Damn I'm lazy when it comes to computers sometimes.

Someone needs to create an operating system where all you have to do is drag an application icon and an (possibly) an application support folder to the trash. Oh, wait... there is one.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I left home at about 5:15 to go to the post office and it was 84 degrees. I get back home at 6:00 at it is 59 degrees.

That's why living in a state where you don't have a gigantic temperature swing like that is nice. Granted, you would have had to have put up with 90+ for almost 2 weeks straight, but it's the cross that I will bear.
