Microsoft unveils location of 75 new retail stores on a map

Check out the bottom map, particularly the location of the Lone Tree, Colorado, store.

I walked by the Microsoft Store in Atlanta (at the Lenox Square mall) - I didn't know they existed until that moment. It's a total carbon copy of the Apple Store - glass front, logo-only sign above the middle of the entrance, staff sporting the same t-shirts with big lanyards around their necks. Displays all over on big tables. Not to say I blame them for copycatting a good concept - I just chuckled to myself as I passed by.

I've watched a lot of Brewers commercials in my time. Both in the stadium and on TV. It's come to the point that I don't even pay attention to them anymore.

We were watching the game today, when JaDerHeyski noticed something about the Sausage Sundays TV ad. We are in the ad. It was when I had my beard, so it was before May of last year. Who knew we've been regulars to all of your eyeballs this year.

I'm hoping someone can shine some light on this for me. If you give someone a non-monetary birthday present, do you also get them a card? I have 2 nephews who have birthdays this weekend. Last year, I remember getting a present for one of them, but no card to go along with it. My mother was upset (she gets upset at a lot of stuff). To me, kids don't care about a card, and I don't think it's necessary to give a card when you have purchased a present. What do you guys think?

That does seem silly. Hallmark cards aren't cheap these days...usually $3.00-4.00 on top of what you've already spent on the gift. What if you just go with one of those cheapo little cards taped to the outside of the box? You can just write "Happy Birthday from ______". You are probably right that the kid doesn't care about the card anyway.

I always give a card with a present unless it's Christmas. But there's no way that kids care about cards. I remember pretending to read the card so I could get to opening that mysterious box ASAP! So, make the kid happy and skip the card, or make your mom happy and buy a card.

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

I guess it depends on the age of the kid and the message you would write inside the card, and whether or not the card was going to be kept.

If it's for a young kid who doesn't give a rip about the message, and only wants to bust open a toy or something, then you can forget the card. . .but if it is an older kid, I would write something poignant or touching and hope the card made its way into a box or drawer as a keepsake.

I'm a keeper of such crap, and I sometimes wonder why. . .but then I look through and see a Christmas card sent several years ago by my now deceased grandmother and I'm glad I have it.

I skipped the card. Was the only one of about 10 people who did. Do you know how many cards he even looked at? Zero. He's 3...can't read yet, and was too enthralled with his presents. His mom read the cards to him, and he didn't care. I felt vindicated. Shockingly, my critical mother said nothing (at least to my face).

I was thinking as I read NMF's posts above, man, what does his mother NOT have a problem with?

We were at a niece's 7th birthday party yesterday, with a gift and no card. I don't think anyone noticed.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
