2007 Vent Thread, Part 6

adambr2

This year was the first year anyone has said 'if Ben Sheets can stay healthy'. In 2005 he had no injury problems to speak of, in 2006 people didnt' expect him to start the year healthy as the recovery time on his injury was 8-12 months, it shocked me when he started a game before the all star break last year and obviously it was rushing things.

Personally I won't be saying it next year either, this finger thing is just a normal pitcher injury so not worried about it repeating. He will be over a year removed from any arm troubles and the injury made it so he didn't see 200+ IP which would have been a significant worry to me.

Someone in this organization needs to take the fall for the way this team plays baseball. It is either those that constructed the roster, or those that manage the players on a day to day basis. If no one takes the fall, this organization is just setting itself up for 25 more years crappy baseball teams.

Every Sunday is a new opportunity to see your Milwaukee Brewers: Finding Exciting Alternatives to Winning.

Just another .500 baseball team. Fire Ned Yost. And all the pitchers.

Anyone left that thinks Yost should be back next season? He should be gone now.

.500 and tied with St. Louis now. Cubs going to put us away next series.

Don't even rush Ben back, we need him next season.

32 games to go, 16-16 to go .500 for the year. Hmm. Probably need to go 19-13 to win the division, hopefully. This could be tough. If plans are for Ned to be fired if this ends up as a losing campaign, I say fire him now to atleast mix it up. It worked in '82, why not in '07. Somethings gotta change to get things going.

This is such a buzz kill. Two great games in AZ. One close loss against one of the best pitchers in the majors, a great start to the road trip, then we go to SF and get swept by the Giants. And that Brewers ship they keep showing in the bay might as well be sunk.

Just when you think things cant get any worse they do. This team just continuously finds new and more ridiculous ways to lose. Only the Brewers can give up the winning run on a bloop single to right field scoring the runner from first. This is the worst fundamental team I have ever seen in my life and that goes on the coaching staff most notably clueless Ned. he should be thrown into McCovey cove and not allowed on the plane to chicago. Enough is enough. The ineptitude reaches new and more horrifying levels by the day. On one hand Im apathetic because I expect to lose every game, on the other hand I am so angry I just want to scream. This team has been absolute torture to watch.

It's not fun to watch them anymore. I have tickets to Saturday and I think I want to go camping instead. If I'm not having fun watching them, then why am I even debating what to do this weekend? These are the questions I ponder.
