I know what you are saying...I was at Yankee Stadium and Citi Field (Mets) last week and felt the same way. At least I got to see Prince play the Yankees, but he had a horrible game, much like the later part of his season this year...

 

I really liked the Mets stadium better than the Yankees. Just seemed like a nicer atmosphere, and the Mets fans are pretty passionate for having such a crappy team.

 

Fun thing that happened while in New York: We were on our way to the nosebleed section at the Mets game and an official looking Mets employee came up to us and asked us where our tickets were. I told him, and he asked me if we'd be interested in sitting on field level instead, at no cost... I asked him how that could be done, and he said just by accepting the tickets. We took him up on his offer, and sat in $155 (each) seats, right behind the Rockies dugout.... Needless to say, that made our experience sooo much better! Very cool!

My family and I were also in New York last week (including a couple of days in Cooperstown for the first time). My wife asked about the interest in trying to get to Citi Field for a game and I told her it wasn't a priority.

 

I won't be telling her about your good luck with the upgrade as I know I would never hear the end of it.
