The Brewers wasted a leadoff double by David Denson in the 7th. Denson also singled and walked. The 17-year-old is now at .261/.413/.446 with as many walks as base hits (24-for-92).

Jason Rogers again was a monster at the plate. Bones went 2-3, both hits doubles, drove in 1 and walked twice. The RBI was Rogers' league leading 79th. He now has a 5 game hitting streak. Over those 5 games, Rogers is hitting .500 (7-14) with 2 doubles, a home run, 5 RBI's, 2 stolen bases, a sacrifice fly, and 8 walks drawn. Those sound like Player Of The Week numbers to me. He's pushed his season average up to .261.

Southern League Player of the Week -- Daniel Pertusati, Marlins' Jacksonville club

Can't complain, dude was 9-28, seven XBH's, 9 RBI - better week than Rogers, although Jason had ten walks to Pertusati's three.
