Need Help Pricing a Molitor Bobblehead

Pedro

Hey All....

I could use some of the more informed opinions here; I picked up a 2003 Molitor autographed bobblehead at a Brewers function tonight, and I am going to donate to a fundraiser. Any idea what this may be worth? I'm a collector, but not a bobblehead collector so I'm not sure how to value it. Any help -- even in a general price range -- would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Well..... Jeff's Sports has the same thing at their store for $175. Or I would just give their store a call, Jeff is really good at putting a value on memoribilia. I don't know the number of hand but the website is www.jeffssports.com I think Jeff is at the Menomonee Falls store during the week. If not he will be at the Brookfield store then.

The bobblehead at Jeff's is the white version.

if it is blue, I would say right around $120, and if it is white, probably around $50-$75...

See the problem is that autographs on bobbleheads really don't bring up the value, you have to find the right buyer, the blue bobble is normally around $100 anyway, and the white is about $25-$35, so even though the sig looks clean and it is in great shape, signed bobbles just aren't in great demand.

Also--call Jeff's if you want, but he doesn't know a whole lot about the bobbles, I called him once on it, asking how much the whole Brewers set was and he said that the whites were all around $15, and the blues were twice as much as that, well we all know that isn't true, so you can give it a try, but he is better with signed other stuff...

I would still call Jeff's because he will put a value on the signature alone. It also depends on how hard it is to get Molitor's signature, I am not sure how often he signs. When he was suppose to be in Green Bay a couple weeks ago I thought it was $75 for his signature, thats pretty high. At his stores all his Molitor autographs whether it is a photo or something are pretty high in prices. Like I said though he has an autographed white molitor bobblehead selling there for $175.

Thanks guys, appreciate all the feedback. I do know Jeff, and will ask his opinion also. At least I have an idea, I'll probably give it a starting price of $50 for the auction.

Once again, thanks for the insight.
