Important reads:

Mark McCarter -- Huntsville Times column

It's amazing how many of the most notorious PED abusers have played in Huntsville, via their Oakland / Milwaukee affiliations.

Also McCarter, fairly or not, alludes to Braun's former University of Miami roommate, former Brewers' farmhand Brendan Katin, in his column.

***

From a separate MLB story in December 2011 on Katin's tale --

Katin does empathize with Braun. He's been there.

"I feel like when it's all said and done, he'll be in the clear," Katin said of Braun. "I really believe that.

"I think anybody who knows him knows he's telling the truth," Katin said.

Hard to take that list seriously, with where they have Jungmann & Bradley.

But still, I find it a bit hard to believe that Delmonico wouldn't slot into the top 5 of any objective Brewers system ranking. What a great return for 2+ months of a reliever. Doug Melvin is definitely 2-2 on his last two trades.
