what an awesome performance by willy. by far the best game of his career. it's nice that it was against the reds too. i can't stand that team nearly as much as the cardinals.

Since no new IGT being used. I'm using this one for tonights game to say this.

 

Gallardo again with high pitch count 1 batter in to the 6th and 91pitches. He just can't pitch in to the 7th inning. It's amazing nobody has fixed his mechanics to ever help his pitch count. It's been accepted rather than worked on. Another sign that this team doesn't have the right people in place, Melvin/RRR/Kranitz. All of them are on the same page that Gallardo isn't the problem to be fixed that his "Stuff" leads to these outings.

 

If I were Melvin, I'd call BS on say look if you can't work on him to fix his pitch counts then I am finding someone who will. It's unacceptable for me to call Gallardo the "Ace" on this team when our Ace, can't find his way in to the 7th inning. Especially after Peralta just went a CG?! Seriously, where's that random outing by Gallardo?
