I have a superstition about posting in game logs. I did once and the team lost the lead and game after I hit submit years ago and never did again. What better time than now to try and break the curse?
There needs to be a King Thames version of the bible.

FOX announcers just roasting Segura for not hustling back to 1st.

I love Segura but it looks like the same lethargic attitude from this team every day, even when they are winning.

Yo, had it going, now here comes the once again I won't pitch in to the 7th inning after being staked a lead early and putting up zeroes the first 4 frames start.

BTW, Gallardo's OPS now stands at .800. If he could have been a 7ip imagine his career? Batting/Pitching?

Well, time for Axford to blow his trade value.

Is this supposed to be in blue? It's the first run he's given up since May.

Well, it wasn't looking good bases loaded 1 out. I was expecting a Bases clearing double, another walk and a HR to be one of those nightmarish .1ip 7ERs that would certainly change all that Axford had accomplished.

Instead he pitched out of it to a Sac fly only.

More or less just about this time last year that Axford and KRod seemed to try to 1-up each other in terrible performances along with Wolf to make any team attempting to trade for them insane.

Gallardo has been on that trend now for 3 straight starts. He can't keep giving up all these runs and expect to have value in trade.

ARam's constant injury situation lowers his value. Hart out for the season has 0 trade value.

So yeah maybe it should have been in blue because the Brewers are Sellers with a small amount of pieces to sell in value. Axford being 1 of them.

@AdamMcCalvy: #Mets C John Buck booed lustily by the Miller Park faithful for interfering with the Sausage Race. Randall Simon in blue and orange.

I didn't see it - what happened?

John Buck trotted out just as the sausages were approaching. He had to juke around a bit to avoid a collision, especially with Chorizo.

His comments later (mlb.com link) suggest that his interference was unintentional. Once he'd settled in behind the plate, I noticed him give kind of a fist pump with his right arm. It could have been for any of a zillion reasons, but it was enough to make me wonder for a moment whether it was intentional.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
