Uecker article in SI

I was kind of surprised that I didn't hear about this sooner (especially on this site which seems to report ANYTHING Brewer related), but to my surprise last night, there was a very nice 6-8 page story on one Mr. Baseball in this past week's issue of Sports Illustrated. A very good read and even some "new" stuff that I hadn't heard before.

um, it's got LeBron pretending to be Jordan staring into another O'Brian Trophy.

 

Seriously, I spent 15 minutes on the Uecker article and maybe 10 minutes on the rest of the issue.

 

The Rushin article about baseball names at the end of the issue is pretty good, too.

I think I had heard they were going to feature a Bob Uecker story a few weeks ago, but I had forgot about it. I will probably buy this if you say it is a 6-8 page article on Ueck.
