I see the T-Rats are using that bizarre bat pose from the Lucroy bobble with the Whiffer bobble too. Sorry, but I have never seen anybody (player or mascot) holding the bat straight out in that particular way. I do like the fact that it is a new pose, but a more realistic one would have been appreciated.

 

Speaking of Whiffer, does anybody know what the story with him is ... why the T-Rats felt they needed another mascot and/or how they came to creating/ripping off the Phillie Phanatic? I have asked several T-Rats employees these same questions, and the answers have varied from "I don't know" to I guess we felt we needed another mascot."

 

I do LOVE the fact that they are doing a Coulter bobble with catching gear on though!
