Another game, another Ryan Braun start. I just don't get how Roenicke can't see he's not right. One day off a week is not going to make him healthy.

Well, today's game is a national blackout, so I can't see it. I'm going to rely on your color analysis here, guys. ;)

Brown is turning out to be one of my best fantasy adds ever. Not quite up there with adding Mike Trout a a few weeks into last season, but he's getting up there.

I haven't been following as close as usual. Why are we getting back to back starts from Figaro and Gorzellany? I could look it up but i've been doing yard work all day followed by drinking and grilling and am hoping someone will just tell me.

Brauny up to .299. He's still hitting, just not generating a lot of power. I hope he breaks his home run drought soon.

Brauny 3-4. God, I hope this is a sign of things to come. Just keep getting those singles, and the other stuff will come.

Estrada, Narveson, and Burgos are on the DL. Fiers has been a wreck and is either in AAA or a bullpen mop up role (not sure). Most of these guys are a wreck anyway, my guess is Gorzzellanny joins the rotation, although that will require paying him more money at some point, so maybe not.

Also, Thornberg was brought up to start but ended up pitching out of the bullpen a couple days ago instead.

Considering his past history, I'm not sure why Gorzellany wasn't considered to be one of the spot starters earlier in the year. I know they needed to stretch him out more, but that could have been done a while ago.

That was my thinking in the initial signing of him to be a spot starter/long reliever. Glad to see he got 4ip in today and Thornburg another 2Shutout IP.

As I type 1out away from another W

good performancem from the brewers today. gorzelanny showing that he's been worth his salary. he's been one of the best and most consistent pitchers on the team. i'm glad that thornburg had a good game. i think that he could be a good reliever. keep him on the big league roster the rest of the year so that he gets experience. k-rod has been a pleasant surprise. i don't think that anyone could have guessed that he would have been this good so far. 2 wins in a row for the brewers. first time in a month that i have felt good about the brewers. a series win would be nice.
