For the love of God, why is Braun in there? Rest him, [for heck's sake]. He's not hitting worth a lick right now because his thumb is an issue.

 

If I could plant my foot in Ron Roenicke's rear end, I would.

He hit 2 home runs in May. In the last 7 days, he's hitting .231. A manager with half a brain would think, "gee, my superstar does not look right, and maybe give him two or three days off. No, taking him out of the last two innings of a game doesn't count.

 

Braun has said the thumb is still bothering him, but RRR the super genius would rather throw him out there, and risk further injury. He's a complete mental midget.

lmao im getting the A's broadcast here in vegas and the commentators just said, ''Rickie Weeks getting booed. It has become a regular occurence here at Miller Park.''

 

I'm not for booing our own players, but a change just had to be made. Hopefully, Rickie can come around and actually help the team in the near future, but if Scooter takes off, ya gotta do what is best for the team.

Id rather Braun sit for 2-3,heck even 5 games so he can rest his thumb than him injure it further and end up with a DL stint. Its not like Schafer cant play LF for a few days.
