I'm fine with Fiers, as long as he keeps pounding the zone. He looks like he fixed what was ailing him in spring training.

He's always been hittable. He throws a "Rising" fastball, which causes lots of flyballs.

Did you guys just see Sophia get clobbered with that ball on live TV?

Wow!

She could have been hurt pretty badly had that ball nailed her in the face.

Looks pretty hitable to me so far.

Just doesn't look like the same guy as last year when he was dominating.

He is exactly the same but just not hitting his spots. As I said countless times last year Fiers is a #5 pitcher at best and when he is spotting his pitches he will be good if not he will look like he is throwing BP to the other team.

We saw flashes of the Fiers of old. Stranding a runner on 3B with no one out, striking out Snider and McCutchen and getting Jones to fly out. Getting guys to hit weak tappers off the end of the bat. The optimist (read: Fiers apologist) in me wants to believe that the Walker HR was due to being tired and not stretched out, and McCutchen's HR was three inches from being a double and stranded on 2B.

And Weeks ends another game/rally :( dear lord why do we keep running that bum out their

He hit a rocket to the warning track. Hardly an awful at bat.

A rocket to the warning track or a dribbler back to the pitcher or a swinging strike 3 and out is an out and the fact of the matter is the guy is batting 170 something and is one of the worst defenders and continues to kill rallies and end games for us plain and simple
