Search is currently down and being worked on. Some features are also disabled to free up some resources.

It's hard to estimate an ETA, but figure on at least another couple of days. The entire board is being re-indexed. Hopefully, this will help us to get better search results.

 

The impetus for doing this was that "Ryan" and "Braun" were unsearchable because the words were "too common." We had the same issue some time back on LambeauLeap with "Aaron" and "Rodgers." Because that board is so small, the search was able to be re-indexed pretty quickly.

The last estimate I gave Casey was indeed the possibility of 5 days. One hour's sleep and shifting from plan A to plan D (yeah, B&C were tried too), did get the job completed. All features are back up but there may be some slowness until we get the size of the database cut down considerably. The search function is a very greedy one.

forum.brewerfan.net will have been slow due to how hard I was working the server. If you mean just brewerfan.net, that is unrelated. Unfortunately, I have no access there.

Sorry about the sporadic slowness when it comes to making posts. I've been biting off more than the server can chew. I only just became aware and will take smaller bites.
