Can't complain about that line-up, other than Lucroy hitting 5th, which is a run producing spot in the order...

For a half-second I was trying to put a name with an S, a T, a U and so on down through the lineup. Then I got to the "!" . . . .

I'm just going to go back to the fundamentals. I just want to enjoy myself watching a good game tonight. Maybe that's foolish given how these two teams are struggling, but if the summer isn't going to be lost for baseball purposes the turnaround has to start soon.

nice lineup for once. no rickie means we might score more than 2 runs tonight. brewers win

I hope you don't make a habit of "putting your money where your mouth is" using that kind of analysis. Of course, you do have have the word Vegas in your username...

You need to look at more than BA. He is still batting well over .300 in high leverage situations. Not really a guy behind him in the order I would rather see in that spot.

After the top 4 in the lineup, statistically speaking Lucroy is the next best Run Producer on the team. Gomez has a lower BA RISP so far this season. Historically Lucroy is better than Gomez. And Lucroy comes through with a 2out knock to prove the point. While Gomez strikes out. Until Hart returns there isn't a better #5 option unless one of the top 4 in the lineup drops down in order.

Can someone please explain to me why Lucroy was set up off the plate for Dee Gordon's entire at-bat? It's no wonder Burgos walked him, that's where Lucroy was set up. Is that Lucroy's call or is that coming from the dugout? The guy's hitting under the Mendoza line with the pitcher up next - set up on the plate and make him hit it!

Burgos only made it 3 1/3 innings? 88 pitches, of which only 49 were strikes.

You can't tell me we don't need a new pitching coach. We have to be the most inefficient staff in the Majors. I wonder if anybody has compiled number of pitches thrown by starter, and how many innings they've finished.

Maybe it's just me, but these in-game-threads seem to keep getting sparser and sparser.

As will the fans at Miller Park if this season continues in the downward spiral it is currently on.

Bianchi with a hit. Let's hope his playing time continues to increase.

Remember when we were 14-11 to start the month of May? Wasn't that great?

I think we just don't have very good pitchers. Burgos has the potential to be serviceable, but he was in high-A ball a year ago.
