I think at this point Jeff should get the opportunity to start until he proves he doesnt deserve to get the starting nod. Weeks may have good career numbers against Kershaw, but who else has he historically had "good numbers" against.

Couldn't agree more. More brilliant moves from Ron Yost.

That is completely bass ackwards. What has Bianchi done in his illustrious career to prove he DOES deserve to start?

Exactly. Rickie struggled the first 2 months last year also, and then was himself the rest of the way. Benching him permanently for Bianchi won't help long term. Rickie needs to be set up to succeed when possible to get back on track, and starting against guys he's been good against is a way to do that. If he continues to struggle, and progressively gets worse, even in good matchups, then he'll be on the bench a lot more. Bianchi isn't gonna be the savior. He's definitely going to be a great utility IF, and bench bat, but he can't be counted on to be a starting 2B at this point.

Nice job pitching out of trouble. I don't think the Brewers can afford to give up more than 2 runs.

Anyone know Weeks' numbers against Kershaw?

So our offense scratches out a hard earned run against one of th best pitchers in baseball to tie it up and our "ace" gives it right back the next half inning.....

So Weeks range going to his right is about 1 foot?

Sometimes good hitters will hit home runs.

Only one home run this season, Matt Kemp? No problem. Play the Brewers, they'll turn your season around.

Rickie now hitting .127 for the month of May. 7 for 55. 1 RBI.

He needs to sit for a few days. Maybe having a couple days off will help him clear his mind, because he's pressing right now.

Can we catch the astros for the #1 pick?

Only half kidding....

We don't have a first round pick anymore, we gave it up to sign Lohse.

As bad as the Dodgers have been, at least they have something to look forward to. Kershaw, Greinke and Ryu will make an outstanding 1-2-3 rotation punch.

I wish we had just one of them.

It's May. The Brewers pitched well today, but the hitters ran into the Kershaw buzzsaw.
