Here's the Salt Lake City walkoff video from Sunday's remarkable game.

Do you think Rob Wooten (who has otherwise been excellent) knew it was gone after just one peek? Nearly whiplashed himself heading off the field...gee, lots of fans stuck around for that one, huh?

***

On a brighter note, Blake Lalli goes high and deep.

Glad to be out of Salt Lake City. Their camera guy spends more time focusing on the fans in the area of the home run than anyone I've ever seen.

In addition to congrats to former Brewers farmhand Caleb Thielbar (a big league Minnesota Twin today), we note that 2011-2012 Nashville Sound Jordan Brown was recaled by the Marlins today. Great job by the 29-year-old and his agent in finding his way to the Miami organization for 2013.

Twins Prospect Handbook:

"When Thielbar was pitching in the Brewers system, he threw a fastball in the mid-80s. After being released, he completely reworked his mechanics and got himself in much better shape. In 2012, he was hitting 92 mph. He has very good control of his curveball, and also throws a change-up. Some compare his delivery to that of fellow-Minnesota left-handed reliever Glen Perkins."

Rattlers down early and now in a rain delay, Chris didn't sound optimistic that play would resume.

Final: Huntsville 3 Montgomery 0

Andy Moye turned in the best performance by a Stars starting pitcher tonight, leading Huntsville to a 3-0 win Monday night. Moye (2-5) worked 8 scoreless innings, allowing only 5 hits and no walks while striking out 2. 61 of Moye's 88 pitches were for strikes. Moye was up to 95 on the radar tonight according to the Stars videographer. Tonight's performance continues a nice trend of very good starting pitching for Huntsville as of late. And with the pitching comes the wins. After winning their 1st series of the season, the Stars lost their next 6. Now, they have won 2 series in a row. Moye knocked a run off his ERA with tonight's work going from 5.79 to 4.76. Nice! Real nice!!

Stars closer Casey Medlen worked a clean 9th recording a strikeout for his 7th save on the season.

Huntsville Box Score

It looked for a while like the Stars might waste the efforts of Andy Moye as they were being held off the scoreboard as well. It wasn't until the 8th inning that the Stars broke through. Rene Tosoni's clutch 2 out 3 run double gave the Stars all the runs they would need. Tosoni finished 1-2 with 2 walks and those 3 RBI's. Kentrail Davis singled 3 times tonight and Hector Gomez added a single and double, going 2-4. Robinzon Diaz and Shea Vucinich each singled for the Stars other hits.

Team RISP: 2-for-10.

Team LOB: 8.

If not for Tosoni's hit in the 8th, it could be very likely we'd be pointing to these numbers again and wondering what might have been.

Final: Palm Beach (Cardinals) 1, Brevard County 4

Three-run first propels 'Tees to win over Cards

Goforth hurls seven strong innings in 4-1 victory over Palm Beach

By Andy Towne / Brevard County Manatees

VIERA, Fla. - Strong pitching from starter David Goforth and an offensive outburst in the first inning sent the Brevard County Manatees to a 4-1 win over the visiting Palm Beach Cardinals on Monday night at Space Coast Stadium.

Each of the first four batters in the first inning reached base for the Manatees (23-20), including a leadoff single for T.J. Mittelstaedt, which was then followed by an RBI double to center for Greg Hopkins.

Hopkins was then driven in by Nick Ramirez as Ramirez singled to right. Three batters later, Yadiel Rivera was able to bring Ramirez across to make it 3-0 in the opening frame.

That was all the help that Goforth (4-4, 2.79) would need, as the only run he allowed to the Cardinals (17-26) came in the third inning. Juan Castillo led off with a single, moved to second on a sacrifice bunt and scored on Colin Walsh's single to left, though Walsh was thrown out trying to stretch to end the inning.

Ramirez added an extra insurance run as he led off the third with his seventh home run of the season. Ramirez, Cody Hawn and Chadwin Stang each had a pair of hits.

Goforth earned the win for his third straight start and has a 0.86 ERA since May 9 with just two runs allowed in three consecutive outings of seven innings. On Monday, he scattered five hits and walked three, while also sitting a trio down on strikes.

Out of the bullpen, Andre Lamontagne threw a perfect eighth with two strikeouts to set the table for Tommy Toledo's third save of the season.

Game two of the series will be on Tuesday with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m. The starting pitching match-up will feature Brooks Hall (2-3, 2.82) for the Manatees and lefty Kyle Hald (1-3, 6.57) for the Cardinals.

Nick Ramirez led the offense with a 2 for 3 night. He belted his team leading 7th home run and also drew a walk. Cody Hawn also went 2 for 3 with a walk. In fact, the top five hitters in the BC lineup each drew a walk. Chadwin Stang was 2 for 4 but did get caught stealing once. Greg Hopkins doubled and Cameron Garfield and Yadiel Rivera each singled for the other Manatees hits. Lance Roenicke added an outfield assist.

Sounds Lose Series Opener In Tacoma, 5-2

Hunter Morris Slugs Team-Leading 7th Homer For Nashville

TACOMA, Wash. - The Nashville Sounds were bested by the Tacoma Rainiers by a 5-2 count on Monday evening at Cheney Stadium in the opener of a four-game series.

Rainiers starter Blake Beavan (2-2) was solid in earning a victory, holding the Sounds to one run on four hits over 7 2/3 innings. The lone blemish on the right-hander's quality start was a Hunter Morris home run.

Third baseman Alex Liddi paced the Tacoma offense with a 3-for-4 night that included his team-leading eighth home run of the season and three runs scored.

Tacoma plated the night's first run in unearned fashion following back-to-back fielding errors by the left side of the Nashville infield in the bottom of the third inning.

Scott Savastano led off with a single against Sounds starter R.J. Seidel and Carlos Triunfel followed with a potential double-play grounder to shortstop, which was missed by Blake Davis for the frame's first error. Savastino over ran second base on the play and was erased in a rundown as Triunfel took second on the play. Nate Tenbrink stepped into the box and hit a cue shot towards third base, where Stephen Parker mishandled the ball to allow Trinufel to race home to give the Rainiers a 1-0 lead.

Carlos Peguero upped the Tacoma lead to 3-0 in the fourth when he belted his sixth home run of the year, a first-pitch two-run bomb to right off Seidel. Liddi, who preceded Peguero with a single, also scored on the blast.

The Rainiers tacked on another run in the sixth to increase their advantage to 4-0. Liddi singled with one out, stole second, advanced to third on a wild pitch, and scored on Stefen Romero's RBI single to left, which chased Seidel from the contest.

Seidel (0-1) took a loss in his first career Triple-A decision after allowing four runs (three ER) on five hits in 5 2/3 innings of work.

Morris (2-for-3) broke up Beavan's shutout bid in the eighth with a one-out solo homer to deep right, the slugger's team-leading seventh big fly of the year and his third since being activated from the disabled list on Saturday.

Liddi answered Morris' blast with one of his own in the home half of the frame, taking Jesus Sanchez deep to left for a two-out solo homer that brought the score to its final 5-1 standing.

The Sounds didn't go down without a fight in the ninth, plating a run and bringing the potential tying run to the plate against the Tacoma bullpen.

Blake Davis led off with an opposite-field double against Rainiers reliever Brian Moran and scored Nashville's second run of the night when Josh Prince doubled off the right field wall. Prince went 2-for-4 to extend his longest hit streak of the year to five games.

After Caleb Gindl grounded out for the second out of the frame, Khris Davis drew a four-pitch walk to put runners on the corners for Blake Lalli, who struck out to end the contest as Moran nailed down his first save of the season.

A pair of significant streaks were snapped for Sounds players in the loss. Catcher Anderson De La Rosa went 0-for-3 to bring an end to his season-best 11-game hitting streak. Third baseman Stephen Parker went 0-for-4 and was held off the basepaths for the first time in 20 games to snap the PCL's longest on-base streak.

The teams continue the series with another 8:00 p.m. CT matchup on Tuesday night. Right-hander Johnny Hellweg (2-4, 3.72), who earned a quality start victory in his last outing, will man the bump for the Sounds and face Tacoma left-hander James Gilheeney (2-1, 3.70).

Moye, Stars Shutout Biscuits

By Alex Cohen / Huntsville Stars

After being shut out on Sunday evening, the Huntsville Stars pitching staff returned the favor by shutting out the Biscuits en route to a 3-0 win on Monday at Joe Davis Stadium.

Coming off of a stretch where he lost his last four decisions, Huntsville starting pitcher Andy Moye came up with arguably the best pitching performance for the Stars this season. The 25-year-old righty improved to 2-4 on the year after holding the Biscuits without a run over a season-high 8.0 innings pitched, while only giving up just five hits in the process. Moye's ERA dropped a full point from 5.79 to 4.76 with the victory.

Moye was able to earn the victory when Huntsville broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the eighth inning. After six scoreless frames from Montogomery starter Enny Romero, the Stars bats finally got to reliever Marquis Fleming (L, 1-2) in his second inning of work. Following a leadoff double by shortstop Hector Gomez and a single from left fielder Kentrail Davis that put runners at the corners with nobody out, Fleming was chased from the game in favor of righty Matt Navarez. The 26-year-old righty hit right fielder Brock Kjeldgaard with a pitch but retired two batters to put the bases-loaded with two outs.

Fortunately for the Stars, center fielder Rene Tosoni was able to come up in the clutch. Tosoni sent a 2-0 fastball off the right-center field wall to clear the bases and give Huntsville a 3-0 lead that they would not relinquish (audio).

In the ninth, the Stars got a 1-2-3 ninth from reliever Casey Medlen, giving the righty his seventh save in just as many opportunities (final pitch).

The win for the Stars clinched their second consecutive series victory and first series win at home this season. Overall, the Stars are 8-5 in their last 13 games, in which they also have all three of their shutouts this year over that time span.

On offense, Huntsville was paced by Davis, who had three of the Stars eight hits.

The Stars and M-Braves will play the finale of their five-game series at Joe Davis Stadium on Tuesday. Huntsville will send RHP Arcenio Leon (0-3, 5.93 ERA) to the bump to square off against Montgomery RHP Victor Mateo (2-4, 6.86 ERA). First pitch is at 6:43 PM.

Following the series finale and a off-day on Wednesday, the Stars will hit the road for their first ten-game road trip of the season. The team bus will head to Kodak, TN for five games against the Tennessee Smokies on Thursday and then cross the state to head towards Pringles Park for five games with the Jackson Generals.
