You guys seriously think Martinez threw at Segura and Lucroy intentionally? Segura had two strikes on him. I don't even think Lucroy got hit. It might have nicked his pants, but I don't think so. Putting a free runner on base in "retaliation" for these actions, in a tie game, would be foolish I think.

Well, I'll take a walk. Nice AB, Carlos.

Can the Yuni Bomber come through?

Retaliation doesn't have to come the same game. It can come in a different game or even different series. The point is that when Ron Roenicke is your manager, retaliation will never come.

I can believe Segura being thrown at on 2 strikes. I am not watching game only gamecast so I don't know how the pitches went down. Payback doesn't have to occur in the 8/9th innings in this game. Tomorrow's another day or later this season.

That is why I asked how bad was he hit.

re the hit batter, I think the point is two fold; from time to time, for sure, the Cardinals hit batters; that is just fact; but, on top of that, they are happy to pitch 6 inches inside, and if they miss by a foot more... who cares

the recent stats have shown the Crew are hit more than any other team; and the Brewers hit less than any other team; therefore the Brewers are obviously 'too kind' and do try to keep players hanging over the inside of the plate; it is just a Brewer philosophy vs a Cardinal (a most other teams) philosophy; statistically it is provable

I don't know if anything was intentional, but I do know that if it was, there will be no payback, there never is.

That is just how we roll.

Did we really just get through the 8th or was that just a mirage?

RRR is looking for Mark Kotsay to pinch-hit in the 9th but Mark ain't there..... Here we go Logan, you got this!

Can we just DFA Weeks and Gonzalez please? Neither one of them are worth a damn. They're automatic outs.

Considering how the Brewers are trending. We are looking at everyday players Batting above .300 at:

CF,RF,LF,3b,SS

And Everyday players batting under .200 at 2b,1b,C, and of Course Pitchers.

Is there any chance that has ever occured before in MLB history to be that extreme one way or another?

I think Roenicke has it planned for him to only be out another .1 IP. The game will be over then.
